With the way this team has bought into the team defense concept now I wouldn't think his defense would be an issue. You can't have shut down defenders at every position.
Has to be a separate transaction. Adding up a Jones, Terry, KPap, and you're still looking at only about $12-$13 million. Morey would have to blow up the team in order to get Williams. If this was for an elite player, I'd say "what's the wait?" but Deron is no longer elite.
Would have to use the Jeremy Lin TPE to bring in a player that costs at least $4-5M then package that player with Terry and KPap at the deadline.
DWill has played much better than last year and seems to be healthy right now. No sign of ankle issues this year.
Maybe so, but In the west more than the east it's important to keep all these all star pgs in front of you. When you have penetration the "kick out" and the big man coming over to make up for penetration becomes a huge problem.

And make Francisco Garcia our one and only small forward? No way we trade 2 of our best defenders along with our veteran leader (and excellent 3 point shooter) for an overpaid PG on the decline that would take the ball out of Harden's hands.

Terry, Kostas, Dorsey, Terrence, Daniels is enough salary to bring in DWill. Terry, Kostas, Dorsey, Terrence, Daniels for DWill, Brown, Gutierrez, Jefferson, and Jordan meets all the criteria. But.....I wouldn't do it personally.....unless we acquire him to shuffle him off to Sacramento and get back a huge TPE and possibly a pick or a young talent to go with that $19 million TPE. I'm sorry I can't imagine DWill's trade value being more than some good rotation players and a second rounder or two.
I think D WILL will do better in a different team. I think playing with all those over the hill players has effected him. Playing with a young exciting team will motivate him. Maybe (and I hope not) we will trade Howard for him and stay with the rapidly improving DMO for center and TJ for a 4. Stranger things have happened. What PG will we also trade. I would like to keep PAT B. But would he be happy coming off of the bench?
