Hakeem has two rings and played against some of the fiercest competition. Look at all the stats he led in as well. Even if we were to talk about one on one play Hakeem would destroy Dirk.

They were trashed. Dirk was their leader and had only 1 good game out of 6.

Hakeem is a symbol of ClutchCity. He was clutch on both ends of the floor for the majority of his career. Dirk couldn't even get Dallas past the 1st round of the playoffs after Tyson Chandler left them, whereas Hakeem led us to Back to Back NBA Championships.

There is no comparison between the two of them.

    Stupid thread.

Hakeem was arguably the most complete and most skilled player to ever play the game of basketball. He had virtually no weaknesses in his game, he made his teammates better, he took an under-talented squad to the NBA championship in 94. He is one of the only players to ever win MVP, Defensive MVP and Finals MVP all in the same year. One of only four players to ever record a quadruple double, nearly did this twice in his career.

I'm sorry, Dirk is a nice player but he's nowhere close to the talent of Hakeem. Longevity wise, Dirk may end up pretty high on the all-time scoring list but so is Karl Malone and as Rocket's fans we all know we would take Dream over Malone 100x out of 100.

If you want to compare Dirk to other players at his level you need to compare him to someone like KG.

Dirk and Hakeem are closer than that. C'mon man, give Dirk some credit.

OP is obviously a fake rockets fan. Only fake fans would make threads questioning who is better lol

How did this discussion even begin?

It's like trying to determine who is better - Shaquille O'Neal or Ben Wallace?

Ghost of Newb, watch the video.

By the way, 99ers know more about Hakeem than newbs. Clutch City created 99ers.

Not really. Hakeem played PF early in his career and would have been just as great if he had played PF his entire career. Dream was a better player, PF, and C than Dirk.

Of course, by that same argument, we can't compare Hakeem and Jeremy Lin. They both play different positions, so we'll really never know who was a better player.

you obviously don't get the point of this thread and obviously didn't watch the video. you're just trying to cover your ass.

that's what newbs do, they react without reading or in this case , watching.

Please dude, the 99ers are the wu tang clan of the rockets.

Why is this even a debate?

Doesn't common sense say the guy that's dominant on both ends and 2 rings is better than the player dominant on one end with one ring?
