    Mark Berman doesn't know anything. I could have provided the same report :)

    Dwight will be back soon. That's if he really was hurt since ariza chased Dwight around with some cupcakes before giving him a facial

    The fast start has put us in a good position to weather this extended Dwight absence. But I am a little sick of the Rockets' way of handling injuries. This seems like about the dozenth guy on the team in the last 5 years who has started out day-to-day with a minor injury and then oops, did we forget to mention he's missing six weeks?

    I don't entirely blame them given the already anemic attendance and enthusiasm at ToyCen, but it makes it real tough on all fans for the sake of coddling a few casual ticket buyers.

    Do we really have a right to their medical situation?

    What does this even mean? Injuries vs "anemic" attendance and coddling a few casual ticket buyers?

    He's implying if the rockets FO states clearly players will be out until (say end of dec) that tickets sales and attendance drops during that period. Therefore in order to protect sales and maintain attendance the rockets opt to be vague with the injuries.

    There is also this element of the other team not knowing what your roster will be so they have to make extra preparations.

    @Jonathan_Feigen: Yes. He has been running. MT @MrAHMED92: @Jonathan_Feigen Dwight looked fine in his Birthday Video running from Ariza. Is he really injured?

    I don't know if I buy that. Unless Dwight's injury is really serious(i.e. he's gonna be out most of the year). Then I could see them maintaining this charade of him always being on the verge of returning so people don't lose interest in the team.

    to the comment about attendance and crowd;

    the Rockets crowd has been noticeably energetic in games this season. you can see the noticeable difference on the broadcasts.

    they were screaming DEFENSE up 20 in the third quarter of the Memphis game.

    I think it depends on the opponent. The Mavs and Grizzlies games had more energetic crowds whereas the Knicks and Kings didn't generate quite the same enthusiasm. In fairness though, the Rockets players seemed to react the same way based on their respective performances.

    You're right, and that difference is a pending legal issue.

    That makes no sense. Wouldn't a team sit out a player for legal issues once they have been charged with the crime?

    :rolleyes: God man...no legal issue is keeping him from playing. The Alex Jones reactions needs to chill. He's hurt...he can't plant off his injured leg and when he can without major pain, he will be back. What's the conspiracy theory on T Jones?

    No, the local TV news reported the coach statement last night, Howard is not going to come back soon.
