Can't believe some of you are taking this out of context. He is simply saying before his days with the Texans are over, he wants to get a victory in Indy. He didn't say this was his last chance or this could be his last chance.
Seriously, put 3 on him if you have to. The Colts have no running game and Hilton is their primary receiving threat, if you can shut down Hilton and Fleener, the Colts lose.
Good luck with that Bobby. You know our secondary is terrible. LOL Plus if we are able to shut them two down, ole Reggie Wayne will have a monster day. We better pressure Luck and pressure him often for 4 qtrs.
I have a feeling the Texans will blow out the Colts. B'OB (he really needs a new nickname) gonna pull something out of his sleave.
I want to see Pickett, Powe, Crick be stupid aggresive this game, we know what Watt can do but would most def be amazing to see them disrupt Luck this game because to me that's how you really beat this team, run game is meh, Texans offense can do good even with Fitz.
Maybe you haven't watched much of Reggie Wayne this season, but it's doubtful that he has any "monster days" left in him.
This makes me depressed. It's like the Rockets playing a crucial game against an elite team and then saying, "I want to see Garcia, Dorsey, and Black go off tonight". If Watt had any help at all, this defense would be so ridiculously good.
Pickett has been a life saver for our run defense. Crick also has had a decent season. The issue was more with LB play, which has gotten a lot better. The Texans have been competitive is most every game except...the Giants. Dumb mistakes and stupid penalties cost us. The Texans cant go into Indy playing the way they did in Jacksonville in the first half. They have to be the tempo setter and really look to dominate on the ground and keep the ball out of Luck's hands. Expect to see a really heavy dose of run, run, run...mixed with the occasional pass. Throw out the first quarter of that previous game at NRG, and the Texans outscored the Colts: 28-9 in quarters 2-4. Quarter 1, we gave up 24 freaking points.
RAC's system really is conducive to the effectiveness of big-ass nose tackles. Overall, I'm more impressed with this adjusting defense (especially in the turnover department) with less talent, than I was with Wade's defense which while tremendous at first, eventually ran its course when they couldn't adjust to the team's adjustments. I also don't think RAC's defense will get worse with more expected talent to be added.
I hope BO'B held some stuff back the past couple of weeks with Fitzy to throw at the Colts. I remember reading that Coach said you want to have something new for your 2nd game against divisional opponents after the 2nd Titans game. I hope he comes out with an awesome game plan and the guys execute it. In all honesty, I think we have a few keys to pull it off this weekend: 1) run the ball effectively and avoid any cheap miscues, and 2) keep Luck from hitting the homerun balls to Hilton and now Fleener.
Luck's been a turnover machine. We'll put some pressure on him and force mistakes. Just gotta stay on top of their speedy receiving corps.
