Trust me you can tell. The lack of plays they run on offense and the poor team defense are dead giveaways.
The disappointing thing is benching the scrub may actually help the Lakers win games. Nobody wants to see that
LOL Who didnt see this coming? LOL Yes, because look at all the games they were winning with Jeremy Lin starting for them Stop lying. You guys were crying when Lin was benched for Bev. Only after Lin got his ass handed to him by Bev in the two games they played this year, did these folks realize it was the right move. Even now, plenty of his crazy fans are still in denial. ...and this is the cherry on the top. Not playing Jeremy "The dynamite" Lin and Ed "Sheeran" Davis together???? What?!?! How could this be?!?! Surely the Lakers must be tanking!!! Thank you for the amusement and entertainment.
The dark Jer Bear parts of the internet are melting down. I always wanted to be Superman (Chistopher Reeve). It didn't happen when I tried to fly at 18. Time to cut your losses and get that real estate license.
Unless they use Jeremy Lin as a super sub and make him #1 option when Kobe is off, this is a stupid move. It was doomed from the start anyway, the only reason he succeeded as a Knick was because he got the super green light to do whatever he wanted.
Kind of curious to see who is finishing the games too. They had already dumped Boozer from finishing even while he was a starter... but Lin was finishing most games. It will be interesting to see what they do there.
It's a fact that he was the coach when the nets were in then finals I'm just saying he's not a player's season ruining coach as LOFs turn him out to be What does the coach have to do with 0-10 shooting and dumb turnovers anyway
Yea Jeremy Lin is a below avg PG in this league, but you guys seriously think Ronnie Price is better than him? Lin has better stats than Price in every category. The only problem we see is he couldn't figure out how to play with Byron Scott's system and play along side Kobe. He is lost whereas Ronnie Price knows his role and know exactly what to do along side Kobe.
nobody actually thinks that. Lin's problem has been the same for 2 years, he doesn't really understand his role consistently in any system that revolve putting the ball in his hands 24/7. he will do really weird things on both ends of the floor and I guess that gets on the coach's nerve. I mean even at the end of his time in Houston, he still was still really iffy on both sides of the floor and how he should play with his teammates, that's just a sign of inflexibility as a player, and that's really bad for a role player. Role players needs to be able to be shoved next to stars and be expected to perform the same way no matter who the star is. Him publicly praising McHale's system doesn't help much either. This change just reeks of change for the sake of change because they are 5-15. It's like they have to try something, and they have nothing to lose.
Why? Jeremy Lin is boring. Have you listened to any Jeremy Lin interviews?Tebow is actually not bad as an analyst. ESPN is on the right track on hiring analyst, Katy Perry should be hired. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/8kdisKcNj6Q" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Ronnie Price is a better player than Lin. Ronnie Price was preferred to Lin before he got injured wasn't he?? I know Ronnie Price is sub par, but the main benefit Lin brings to the Lakers this year is the Rockets first round pick (pick 28??)
Do you seriously think Ronnie Price isn't better than Lin? He is a crap player, who is quite steady, and doesn't do wild and stupid things on the basketball court. For all the + items that Lin brings to the table, he cancels them out with unbelievably bad decision making (and normally at very important times). Stats don't reflect a players ability to choose to do the right things on the basketball court. Lin is a 3rd stringer who got paid because Les Alexander is an emotional 3 year old.
