And this is why I'm not mad the Big 12 got left out: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/WOrIq400Y88" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
We got screwed. Ohio State is awful and its a joke they are in. I just can't get excited about the Cotton Bowl when Baylor should be in the playoff.
At least they had a reason for the loss whats Baylor's excuse? Lucky y'all didn't have 2 losses after those 2 PI calls.
No it's not. I agree Baylor would have been my choice for the 4 spot as well, but Ohio State had a case. They're SOS was far better than either Big 12 team's and their win over Wisconsin might be the best of the season. It's disingenuous to say otherwise.
Even without their starting QB, a national title contender shouldn't lose to a a terrible VaTech team at home by 14. Ohio State's offense did fine early in that game with long drives on 3 of its first 4 possessions - the defense sucked independent of the lack of a QB. OSU is also lucky they didn't lose to a 6-6 Penn State. Baylor had better wins, a better loss, and a tougher schedule. TCU had similar wins, a far better loss, and a tougher schedule. OSU had no co-championship (and a bigger brand name).
It doesn't matter if theres a reason, y'all lost to a horrible VT team. Who is tOSU's best win? An overrated Michigan State team that is going to get rolled by Baylor in the Cotton Bowl. Baylors? #6 TCU. Baylor is only the team in the top 6 to have a win over someone in the top 6. Second best win? #13 Wisconsin whose best win is Nebraska? Shoot, WVU or Oklahoma St would probably win the Big 10 West its so bad. Baylors second best win? #9 K-State. The Big 12 is one of the top 2 conferences in America and its a joke they are left out. It's all about money with this committee. If our jerseys said Texas or Oklahoma on them we would be in 100% and its a joke.
The Big 10 is awful and Wisconsin is terrible, their best win is over Nebraska. Baylor has 2 top 10 wins, no other team can say that. They got in because of brand name, nothing else and its crap.
Bookmarked. You have to think that if Baylor hadn't got roflstomped by UCF in the Fiesta Bowl last year, it might have done some good for them in the committee member's memories...
