Sumlin has been given basically a blank check for this hire. I have seen speculation that A&M would be willing to pay $1.5 million a year for Muschamp or Brent Venables. Aside from that, now that Bo Pellini is out at Nebraska, he is considered a target as well.

I don't think he takes the job either but he gets Garrett at buck and a bunch of money. That's gotta pique his interest. Mack is gonna slide into that front too. Unless he gets a decent HC offer you never know.

Butch Davis is done with coaching or what?

WRs coach David Beaty has accepted the Kansas (HC) job.

OC Jake Spavital has interviewed at Tulsa.

Spavital has been contacted by Tulsa, but has not interviewed. That report was erroneous.

Beaty going from WR coach to getting a HC offer is mind boggling. He was on their staff under Mangino.

Sumlin has another hole on the staff to fill.

Should have faced Texas in Texas Bowl, would have been a classic. Disappointed.

I'm not upset about it but you'd think that matchup would have been the 4-6th highest grossing in terms of ticket sales, including the title games.

Sure seems like SEC officials in Birmingham got the match up they wanted. Arkansas will smash UT.

I don't think WV is a good matchup for the Aggies. They have a potent "air raid" offense. I guess it will be the last score wins.

Not feeding the troll. Especially one who can't stop falling over himself long enough to admit that his record prediction was wrong.

My record prediction was spot on. You've been reduced to arguing a technicality about the path to that record.

I was also spot on with the Liberty Bowl -- MANY weeks in advance.

    enjoy Memphis, Aggies!
