Didn't care for him before he was a Rocket but have to admit that he has been legit and a great asset in terms of leadership and pumping the team up. Definitely a great signing.

Such a veteran move he did by falling to the floor for the foul. Its the same flops he used against us haha.

    Yeah, that was great.

He also had a huge smile after that play. The improbable season continues. I am loving this.

You guys thinking Terry gets involved in any midseason deals after the valuable contributions hes added not just in leadership, but on the court as well?

If Morey thinks someone else is worth the trade, no one is safe.. It pains me to say it, but I'm really starting to love Terry. ( I threw up a little in my mouth)

He's not playing like a 37 year old. I'm impressed.

He and Pops are the only medium-size contracts. They're both on the trade block unless they become like all-star level players. I don't think we're likely to make such a trade, but if their contract is what is needed to make the math work, we'll definitely do it.

I thought I'd NEVER EVER EVER say this... but I love Jason Terry. I hope he keeps this up. So glad Morey traded for him. Didn't like it at first but I've changed my mind.

Yes, asset Terry will be traded, will be bought out & will sign back with Dallas.

The JET is on the runway back to Big D! :)

As much as I've hated him for so many years, I have to admit......Love him now.

And I agree with J.R.....He'll likely be dealt at the deadline or before.

Jason Terry is still highly skilled.

With that being said....he's over the hill. Waaaaay over the hill. As this season meanders on towards game 82, you will see Terry's play fall off if he continues to see major minutes. You will see his defense to become even more non-existent than it already is. And it's pretty far gone already. You will finally see a guy that stumbles and fumbles the ball around as we close out the season and move towards the playoffs. He'll be old. And he'll be tired. And we will be playing more athletic better defenses.

Jason Terry at his best is a part time bench warmer on a championship team. Good for spot minutes and possessions where you need to knock down a bomb to win or tie a game. We're getting lucky out there with him right now. Playing teams like Minnesota who don't understand how to play the game. They should have been 94 feet on us as soon as Harden sat down and they would've won this game by turning over Terry. But they don't understand how to play. So we get away with it and he looks a lot better than he is.

Don't get me wrong. He has performed very, very well. But if Bev and Canaan are healthy and we are down to the end of the season, he ain't playing but spot minutes. So.....he's a trade piece. May not be able to trade him right now with both Bev and Canaan dinged unless we are trading him for a point guard. But he will be able to be traded at some point and his role on this team will be able to be filled by others.

Our guys need to get healthy so we don't wear him out too rarly in the season. He truly is one of the best and most important pick ups this season. The guy's leadership is nust priceless. Once he's done playing I would not be surprised to see him on the bench coaching.

I know JET and Pap are on very tradable contracts but i think they are exactly what we need, very solid role players. I wish we could just keep most of our guys and see what this team can do at full strength and with better chemistry. The loss of JET's veteran leadership will hurt as well. Sports fans are always greedy expecting to have most of their starting lineup composed of stars.

Did you consider he might start getting some days off as the team gets healthy?
