0-6 in 4 minutes never looked soooo good!

He moves like Deke, has hands like Cato, layups like Asik, rushes like Thabeet, has the athleticism of Stro and looks like Bernie Mac's big younger brother.

    I'm so confused.

I think confidence is going to be a big key to his potential.

And in order to get playing time his first couple of years - he's going to need to realise he can't do the things he did overseas - he doesn't have the same freedom.

He needs to focus strictly on rebounding and protecting the rim, that will earn him minutes on this Rockets team.

We won't need him putting points on the board via post moves - all we need is a big body to work the P'n'R and to run the court and hustle.

His defensive instincts are there which I like.

No one should honestly be down on this kid. What were all of us doing when we were 18? Certainly not playing NBA minutes.

He grew a hard-on the size of the sears tower tonight, but there wasn't any ****ing left to do.

Wow, he is raw like Hasheem Thabeet raw. He could really use a few years of college ball, but oh well.

The dude has the timing and athleticism to turn out to be the next Mutombo, but probably won't happen until at least three or four seasons later. I wonder if the Rockets are willing to wait that long, or will they start dangling him as trade fodder before that.

Surprised by the negativity, I saw a lot of good things there. He's very fluid, can easily block shots, can rebound effortlessly as well and can run the floor. Getting shots to go in, know where to be on the court, when to give the ball and stuff like that will come. I saw a lot of nerves as well. I am very excited about this guy, once he gets to learn the NBA like TJ & D-Mo in year 2 & 3, he will be very solid. Great pick by Morey!

The biggest positive I saw... how quickly he springs upward. If he can even become Tariq or Dorsey-like in his offensive play he will be a good asset for the team. He definitely can run,and he has springs...

People are saying three to four seasons away and I don't think it will be that long. He showed some promise. To me, it was mostly nerves with him. He could have easily dunked that ball down earlier in the video. He just needs to get his first points and then he will settle down.

I would say he is nothing like Hashee Thabeet. Thabeet couldn't move at all - Capela is quite agile for his length. For a big man he can dribble and run the court.

He looked comically bad at times - but nothing to get worried about. He was nervous as hell (no wonder, he is only 19 and just moved to the US) and he underestimated the Speed of NBA competition. He will settle down and make his easy shots and he will learn not to be so careless with the ball.

His defense already looked good. I wouldn't count him out this season. As a backup big he could earn a Rotation spot, if he can get comfortable on the court.

Don't forget Thabeet used to fall on his ass after every third or so block. Dude was pathetic.

Capela is 2years away from even being a 3rd string guy, but that's okay!

He's 12-15 in the d-league. He was just nervous. You could tell his brain and heart were going 100 mph. You have remember, he didn't even get to play in the summer league or preseason.

I am willing to bet he will get regular playing time by next season. I saw a lot of good things when he was on the court. He is just not used to the speed since he didn't have preseason.

19yo now so this guy could be 3 or 5 years away from being ready. 5-7yrs that's about how long it took Gerald Green to establish a key role on a team.
