Really has to be nice for young big men to get drafted to Houston. Having McHale, Dawson and Olajuwon to mentor your development is a ridiculous perk. D-Mo, for example seems to be eating it up.
well for me I luv it. I personally have met him and know the guy who is his biggest funder. So yeah, let it roll !

McHale says on Clint Capela: "I may throw him out there... we'll see." Man, McHale's quotes are always so empty/uninformative. I always notice reporters asking him what worked/didn't in a game, and he says things like "Well we did some things... made some shots... some stuff didn't go our way."
And Capela shows why he will be a starter in the NBA. And also shows why coaches don't give a lot of burn to young players. Both in the same game!
(edit: wrong thread, let me go ahead and state a Capela-related opinion) Looked pretty Thabeety out there, but he's so young. D-League will be good for him even if it's a bit of a guard's league.
He looked terrified out there tonight. Still VERY raw, but showed a lot to like out there too. I'm sure he'll settle down a little once his first shot finally goes in.
LOL, it was impressive how he didn't lose confidence. And also funny how him and Daniels have no sense of clock-awareness.
