I'd like to see Capela develop into a longer, taller, better Brandan Wright type player. Block shots and dunk the damn ball.
Exactly, if he can do just a bit of that + rebounding that I'm sure he can do well on a NBA level, we will be good. I hope rather sooner than later, but McHale probably won't play him unless forced.
Yup, just like how the Titans would have come back to beat the Texans this past Sunday if they had enough time.
Id like to see him get NBA minutes too, i would rather it come against a team a little less scary than the Grizz.
I agree. I know people are going to be whining if McHale doesn't play him, but the guy looked lost when he was on the floor in the RGV. I know he put up some good stats down there, but I watched the games, and he has a long way to go. Capela is here for some practice and to be available in case of an emergency. I wish him well though, and I'm excited to have him on the team.
you didnt watch anything, trust me, maybe you confused the teams because i DID see some of the games and he is playing within the system and thriving...
per 36 minutes RGV stints Clint Capela 1.7 TOV 3.4 PF D-Mo 2.5 TOV 2.5 PF Terrence Jones 2.0 TOV 2.4 PF No more turnover prone or foul prone than those 2 dudes. Maybe 1 more foul, but that's cause, unlike the other 2, he's blocking everything coming near the rim.
Reign Man looked lost during his first year on the big stage (so young), but he was mentored/taught well (ultimate pedigree too)...and had a fierce desire...He progressed quickly. Of course, guys like Kemp are very rare..... While I don't expect THAT from Clint, you never know....I could handle a little Olden Polynice, though.
