Will need another big for the Grizz tomorrow. 6 more fouls to give on the Grizz bigs. I hope he does get some PT tomorrow.
As Morey said it is too much to put on Black and Capela, I think he is referring to Dorsey or maybe Motiejunas (I doubt Motiejunas as he has been stepping up already lately) as the guys needing to step up.
I want to know the 'way(s) to address it'. Hmm, is there a Mozgov in the pipeline? I doubt it, but - -
Dorsey and Black. Morey stated "Guys step up. Canaan, Motiejunas have stepped up. " earlier in the interview.
To me it sounded like Morey was saying 'We've like what we've seen from Capela in the d-league, we haven't been so much impressed with Dorsey, Capela has been called up to be given a chance to be one of the people to step it up in the Bigs rotation' He praised Capela's D-league performance, saying "He's been tearing it up." I'm so ready for the Capela era. Dude has been getting double digit boards with minutes in the teens. Tons of blocks, has NBA-ready ability to go up quick and strong and dunk that s**t. Deandre Jordan-esque FG% cause he just plays above the rim and has a knack for finishing close around the rim. What I like out of his d-league performance that maybe doesn't get enough mention is that he is making free throws. With a guy like him who flies to the rack, he needs to make free throws and And-1's. He's 12-15, for 80% free throw shooting. Much improved. Hell if he can hit FT's, maybe there is some Ibaka in his game that he can expand on. But right now, just grab every board, dunk the ball, and block everything.
I wonder if it is only one move that is bothering Dwight that he could fight through it, and play? If it were the playoffs would he be playing? DD
It's crazy though. Cuz we only have one less loss than the 7th seed, and OKC will climb up. I think we may have had the easiest schedule so far, too.
I don't believe that - at 13-4 they are falling behind, and getting HC this year is probably more important than ever.... We need to start beating Memphis and GS and teams like that...got to keep at the top. DD
Even if we had a healthy team, we would need more depth. I appreciate Garcia, but we need a replacement for him. Dorsey too.

As I have always said, the young players have to earn their PT with McHale. They have to be ready. But I doubt this applies to Capela and Black. They are obviously to raw to be in a regular rotation in the NBA. And Canaan was obviously ready.
Someone needs to make Capela a cover of the song "Kill people, burn s**t, f**k school" by Tyler the Creator, but with those lyrics replaced by "grab boards, dunk balls, block shots" -- and he should listen to it all the time.
This is all he needs to do. If he can do these things consistently, the minutes are there for the taking. I like the young DeAndre Jordan or Tyson Chandler comparison too. That is all either of those guys did as young guys. It really is all they still do now, they just perfected their craft.
