Aw dude I had that once. Dull sore throat leading up to it with gradually increasing intensity. Then for a few days I couldn't swallow without excruciating pain. I looked and I had a few white blotches on my throat. I think it was tonsillitis. It went away after awhile but just get some painkillers like Ibuprofen to soothe the pain.
Feels like I gargled with broken glass every morning since Thanksgiving. I was so lucky this morning to add brown snot flowing out of my nose to the wrecked throat. Happy Fall/Winter!
Dude, you probably have strep throat and need to get some antibiotics. My wife just had it and it's no joke.
I'll need to see a bibliography to make sure you have actually tried these and not lifted 2k's experience.
No, it is best to let these things run rampant without any medical care. It never spreads to more serious problems down the line with things much more important than your throat.
I get these all the time. I usually ignore them until they go away, and they take a while to go away. That being said, go to a doctor and maybe he can prescribe you something to dull the pain.
gargle with warm salt water……dissolve a teaspoon of salt along with some fresh ginger in boiling hot water
he probably has strep throat. Fever.....look for white spots around the tonsils. Antibotics will be the only thing that works.
it could be that or also a virus, such as mono….best to get a throat culture analyzed first before starting the antibiotics course
