The Lakers are so dysfunctional from Kobe to Jim Buss to Byron. They didn't build an NBA team, they built a mausoleum for Pharaoh Kobe. The rest of the players are just pets and servants slaughtered and buried with Kobe to keep him company in his afterlife.

No matter what happens, the last few minutes of the game turns into Kobe iso after Kobe iso. Everyone else gets blamed for losing except for Kobe.

Big critic of his, but completely unfair to compare the two. I actually like Mchale a lot as an individual, and he isn't scared of calling everyone when need be...and the players do respect him. Scott aka Sargent Doakes, tough guy portrayal, is just a terrible coach hanging by Kobe's scrotum. He has tried to pretend that Kobe's horrid and selfish play isn't part of the current problem. In the process, he starts taking a dump on the rest of the team and says they aren't playing hard enough. When you've already picked sides, choosing to be Kobe's b**** so you can keep your job, alienating the rest of the team by putting salt on the wounds, making a statement after every loss...just seems extremely stupid.

The **** show that the Lakers is great. I hope Kobe starts chucking even more then is is currently. The pathetic front office, non existent coaching and Kobe's jacking make what would normally be a top FA destination somewhere nobody will want to play. Who cares about the allotment of scrubs on that team? Why anyone would feel bad for them is beyond me.

and THAT is why the organization needs to move on from him. The guy will keep them stuck in the past until they either get rid of him or he retires.

The Lakers provided the raw materials, but Kobe is building his own mausoleum brick by brick.

And all the Lakers fans will comment in awe when he finally gets that game winning shot, no matter how many games he loses on the way there.

Did Kobe and Lowry switch bodies tonight?

    Lowry: 10-28, 28 points
    Bryant: 11-24, 31 points-11 assists-10 rebounds

Even though Derozan was out it was still a quality win for the Lakers morale. They got the talent to win 37-41 games as long as Kobe doesn't shoot them out of it.

And to add on, I hope they do win 40+ games. Having them miss the playoffs, but not suck enough will keep them from getting a 1st round pick at all. If the pick isn't in the top 5, it goes to the Suns as a part of the Steve Nash trade (robbery)

no coincidence it happened on the day kobe had 10+ assists. kobe had a stretch couple seasons ago when he was putting up a lot of assists. then it suddenly stopped?

The Lakers got a lucky win. If those teams play exactly the same game getting exactly the same shots 100 times, Toronto will win 80+ of them. The Lakers made more than their fair share of contested shots while Toronto missed more than they normally did.

Kobe had a great shooting night but not a sustainable one.

Best part of all is that this will not be the last death stare we will see this season.

Kobe was getting his teammates involved in the first half. And then he began chucking in the 4th and OT. They won because he made some difficult (translation: bad) shots down the stretch. I am sure that would encourage him to chuck away in the 4th quarter of every game.

Id say that game would've never gone to OT had Derozen not been injured
