I am afraid that the GA investigation is a complete red herring. The first thing they will do is look at who is filing the complaint. Then they will drop it like a hot potato, citing the FL investigation. If they even bother to release anything to the public. And oddly, GA does not even have jurisdiction of the case. Odd how the rule of law works isn't it?
The overwhelming odds are in your favor. We all know Morey is one of the most active GMs, yet he is also completely unpredictable.....makes it tough for fans that want news.
Asik trade. Although the rumormongers got that one wrong too since they were all talking about the midseason deadline and he waited till the offseason.
That was a different situation. Asik's agent leaked it to put pressure on the Rockets to trade him. The rumblings were that Asik wanted to be traded... not that the Rockets were trying to trade him. Morey made it known he was trying to trade Asik after Asik asked to be traded.
Sigh. The Asik to [someone] trade was obviously going to happen. I could have predicted that. The Patterson trade, the MM trade, and most especially the Harden trade came right out of the blue. Morey, if he ever sniffs a leak, is going to track it down and exterminate it. I would too in that position.
Doc's source is one of the 2 people in the organization where Morey has to go "please don't let that out", typically speaking not a lot of info is going to be shared because of Brown's position.
IMHO Morey is a hard hearted SOB. I honestly cannot see him ever allowing a leak. Unless it comes from Les. That he has absolutely no control over. Everybody else - the guillotine.
He has no control over the CEO either, as i said, one of the two people senior to him. Doc clearly knows a lot more than he lets on, but its also obvious why he keeps it close to the chest.
He may be CEO but I do not believe that Morey gives him any insider information. Need to know. Besides, Morey has seemingly complete complete control over the FO.

because he's said and done several things. that he's followed by him on twitter, that he goes to family parties with him, that he says he has direct communication with 1 of the people in the room with dwight (daryl, les, tad, clyde, hakeem, bull, worrell, james, chandler), that he worked for the business side of the franchise. Also from reports, Daryl was said to have tepidation about dwight, whereas Tad was reported to be ultra bullish, the latter being what Doc's last post was.
Drew was the first one to say the Rockets were trying to go after one..IIRC, he said they were going after Bledsoe bc of his contract situation, but Drew said he'd settle for Goran, kind of implying Phoenix would pick one and trade the other. Days later the media started picking up on it.
Not sure if serious....everyone knows we don't just need shooters, we also need guys who can make plays of the dribble. PF isn't the only spot that could use an upgrade..
