Dwight and the coaching staff are being extremely cautious. And why not? The Rockets are 13-4. The Memphis game is probably unwinnable without the full roster. Jones however is very worrisome.
Apparently Carson Palmer (quarterback in the NFL) had the same issue Jones has, but in his throwing arm. He was out for 5 weeks. If Jones is out for 5 weeks, he'll be back around December 10th against Golden State.
Honestly that is like a week and a half away and that would be a blessing if it works out that way. But who really k nows.
He said it was going to get ugly, like AP. Unless, i missed it, he didn't say Howard would be out. And like i said before, it sounded like his own opinion. People need to remember this is his own personal account. It's not an "i'm an insider come ready my insider tweets" account. He still has his own opinion on things. If people want to take everything he tweets as insider news, then that's on them.
What are you hearing about his knee and do you think the "injury" is related to the possible abuse news or are they two completely different things?
It seems like you're more interested in being that guy who proved them wrong, than anything else. Do you honestly think someone is going to give up that info? What good could come of that? They'd just cause problems for themselves. It's completely pointless to even ask, no one is going to tell you that, period. I'm not sure why it's so hard to believe that people talk. All of our "insiders" may not be legit, but we're not exactly talking about government secrets here. Morey and his people have spouses, siblings, close friends, family, etc. I know Rosas has 2 younger brothers, probably in their late 20s, and it wouldn't surprise me at all to know they'd leak stuff out. Some people here know them personally. I'm not sure many of us could keep our mouth shuts at that age, being big fans, and having an older brother with that kind of clearance...and that's just one example. If they are frauds, they'll get weeded out with time, as they keep being wrong, or Clutch will take care of it. If they're legit, you only risk running them off.
The beauty of the Harden trade was it was out of the blue, and we didn't have to deal with months of rumors and such. Can't remember the last deal Morey struck that was actually heavily rumored beforehand anyway. I expect any future deal to be the same.
Not surprised about cyberx and his fellow doubters. The coincidence of Baby Mama Belt Buckle and Dwight's injury, announced practically as the game started ("and at center, Dwi---" [sound of paper rustling] "er, Tariq Black") so that even McHale was taken aback ("why is he out? beats the f*** out of me"), well, it kinda smacks of a team- or league-imposed sitdown while GA law enforcement sifts through the (hopefully so-called) evidence. Tamps down the media furor in the meantime. When GA releases its findings, Dwight will immediately "heal" or he'll be on trial. Hopefully the former and not the latter. I know Clutch has been told of the legitimacy of Dwight's injury, but I can't help think the organization is selling their story. Anyway, if someone wants to borrow my tinfoil hat, go ahead. It's starting to itch.
Drew put the goran/bledsoe thing out there before anyone else, insider or media. That's gotta be worth something, as there was no other source to pull that from. Now it's pretty certain that the rockets are knocking on the Suns' door, and probably have been. That should at least get him the benefit of the doubt, until the goran/pg thing is resolved. The fact that Plowman basically backed it up only helps to validate Drew, even if only a little more. I would give them an incomplete for now, rather than a failing grade.
And why would the Rockets be calling the Suns? Do they really have anything we need? How good of a spot up shooter is Goran? If he is playing along side of Harden he won't have the rock in his hands. How expensive is he going to be this upcoming summer? Can he play PF?
