Always said he was one of the most gifted players we have on our roster. Need to be patient.

Which is very hard I know.

Its good that we're looking to him more in the post.

With some of the lineups we have on the floor (no Harden, Canon, or Howard on the court), he clearly needs to be more of a focal point of the offense.

Nice compilation. DMo is still so frustrating for me though. Been a big fan of him because in baseball terms, he's got like 60 future grade in every big man tool, but his current skill level in every one of them is like a 45.

If he ever figures out the speed of the NBA game look out.

The way he can pass after making a post move would be so deadly playing with Dwight. Too bad he wouldn't get those touches.

How it has taken McHale so long to play this guy is incredible - he is just ooozing with brains, and ability, size and speed.

Injuries open up opportunities I guess.....but for some reason, Mchale always puts guys back on the bench...like Cannon for example....got to play the people that produce.

That's the difference between a good coach (or non-coach) and a great coach. Great coaches have vision, they can see things are aren't super obvious, and that others miss.

With Dwight the need for D-Mo to produce in the post was not great. No Dwight, invaluable in season practice time dedicated to feeding D-Mo in the post? Voila!

lol, mchale kept playing dmo last season even when he was slumping hard. i'm sure half of you lot were moaning about dmo being on the court then.

I am personally not convinced that Dwight is good enough, or dedicated enough to be part of the solution.

His post game is so bad that other than the PnR and defense, he is not all that great.

DMo has had his chances and he really hasn't produced until now. He played almost 1000 minutes last year, so it's not like he's been glued to the bench. Many times he's gotten in early foul trouble forcing the coaches to bench him. In the NBA you have to produce and play well when your number is called, and he's really failed until just recently. I really don't think he deserved playing time over Dwight, Asik or Jones. He's playing well now, so I hope he can keep it up. He should be Dwight's backup at the center position. I really don't like him playing at the same time as Dwight, since they both do their best work in the paint.

DMo is really seizing the opportunity.....showing up all the "hot garbage" idiots.

Fortunately, DM doesn't listen to those idiots.

You can see both McHale and Hakeem in his moves.

I am not saying Dwight Howard is bad, just that on offense when he tries to post up, he clogs the lane and is not efficient.

If he stuck with PnR which he is excellent at, or sliding in off the ball while DMo posts - it would be amazing.

But for some reason, the coaches keep trying to feed him the ball in the post, and that is just not going to work, he is what - 10 years into his career now, his post game is what it is...it sucks.
