Havent watched him a lot this season but his stats seem to be 'ok'. 52% FG is ok for a sophomore imo http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/203461/stats/
If he were a late lotto he'd be okay I guess. He has been atrocious for being a 1st overall pick, but with that being said the whole 2013 draft class has been relatively awful.
Not saying everybody in the draft is a bust, but Giannis (as well as Oladipo, MCW etc) aren't saving the overall 2013 draft from being a miserable class as a whole.
His potential is through the roof, give him a bit more time. Last season shouldn't really count because of health issues, so this can be considered his rookie season. And he's shown flashes of being a very productive player.
If the first overall pick doesn't become at least a borderline all-star he is a bust. Simply being a productive player isn't good enough. It's like saying Kwame Brown wasn't a bust because he hung around the league for a decade.
2013 nba draft isn't as bad as people think. Going to have a lot of late bloomers I think. Bennett being one of them. Oladipo and Burke have produced well already. Giannis looks very special. I think Portor and Len will eventually become top notch rotation players as well. Then you got Steven Adams looking solid so far. McLemore is becoming a defensive stud. Noel is basically a rookie. German kid from the Hawks also looks really special. Hardaway might become decent. Canaan obviously is gonna be dope. But I can't see that I would still take any of them over Anthony Bennett still if I had the number one pick in 2013 and knew how they would all perform to this day. Maybe Greek because that dude is just fun to watch. It's too early to call someone a bust though. Only thing I can say for sure is that MCW is going to be one of the worst ROYs of all time. Probably going to end up like 'Reke.
