True...I was being half sarcastic, but I would have loved to see it. They probably would have though, as it would potentially bolster their already good D, and they may keep Hoyer for the future.
Clowney hasn't even bolstered our defense. Plus I believe they run a 3-4 defense as well. Hoyer has been horrible for the past few weeks. If Cleveland wanted Clowney they would have traded up for him during the draft...
True they would have. As I said, I was being half sarcastic. Mainly, I'm just let down by Clowney, and think that Manziel has boom or bust potential equal to Clowney's at a position of much greater need. That was the main factor in my half-baked scenario. In reality, I hope to have a healthy Clowney back for the Indy and Baltimore game because we will need him. If he can be productive with Watt, this team could have a real shot at the playoffs.

This has got to be one of the coolest days to be a Texans fan. Fitz goes ballistic for 6 TDs Watt with another td catch Andre actually gets a td catch Hopkins best game Titans get bullied Schaub with another pick 6
Great game and great day for sure. But kind of sad when one of our greatest times are regular season games to be back at 6-6.
Never had to quote myself before... I was surely wrong about eking a win out, but not wrong about the consternation.
