There are not very many bigs in the NBA that can backup (or perhaps start) at both the PF and center positions. They tend to be either not big enough or not quick enough. Jury is still out, but Houston may have found one.
DMO deserves to start. I think he is a more well rounded player than Jones. Also, he is seeming more coordinated by the game as he continues to get consistent minutes. Would rather keep Motiejunas and trade Jones when he gets healthy and regains value on the market.
DMo should be your first big off the bench if he keeps this up. Something that has changed about the Rockets offense is that D-Mo has become the primary post option. Something he excels at. Jones is better than D-Mo with the ball in his hands. Something you will see a lot when the other teams big fronts Harden on the PNR.

I agree. 48 minutes lock down paint defense sounds like heaven to me. In certain match ups he should probably start against the likes of LMA and Blake. Situational.
Crazy thing is that these guys cover such large swaths of time with their guesses that eventually they will be right. Whether it is coming out in July and saying by training camp or getting to training camp and saying it will be end of October. 7-14 days, Saturday, and etc. Honest to god since we are trotting out Tarik Black, Joey Dorsey, Nick Johnson and Fransisco Garcia. Of course something will happen...... Soon. Let's see someone call something finite (Doc Rocket style)
There will absolutely be a trade before a Wednesday. It is just a matter of which Wednesday we are talking about.
I think we're forgetting he still has his own opinions. Just because he tweets something doesn't mean he's saying he's got inside info on the subject. I took that tweet as his opinion, nothing more. He just said it was going to get ugly.
