Out of all the people in the world, there's gotta be some kid that can hit three's at a decent rate and learn to pass the ball to Harden on each play. Go find him.
I'd like to know what some posters think that teams with better GM's (because that's what the ZOMG flexibility crowd is implying) do when their 1st and 2nd string PG's both get injured. Because I'd really like to be told how those GM's have 4th string pg's who are as good as their 2nd string just waiting on the bench for them. Because that's what throwing your cap space away gets you, right?
I assume Jet will take on a larger portion of the PG minutes, and McHale will pull Daniels out, of whatever dark cellar he keeps him locked in, to play a few minutes.
Are there 3 FO staffs better than Houston's? Probably not. Everything the GM does is a balanced risk/reward calculation. No GM will ever have a contingency plan for three starters at one time being out with injuries. That is when the "OK, we are ****ed" scenario falls into place.
I didn't see Henson at all on the floor tonight. Is he in Kidd's doghouse? Wouldn't mind him if he's available cheaply.
Repeat after me: LOWRY DID NOT WANT TO PLAY FOR HOUSTON!! What is it with people not understanding this?? He was the very first free agent we tried to sign and he rejected us. Hell, he was the only free agent that both our GM and Head Coach went to see in person to another city, we didnt even do that for bigger names like Bosh or James.
