Fair enough, and you'd be almost instantly fired for it. We don't know that Clowney won't become something good because he hasn't been in the league long enough, but we know RG3 is awful and there's been enough of a sample to know for sure. Anyway, there's literally no way this Madden style trade would go down so there's no point putting all that much thought into it.
Good strategy to make your current team want to get rid of you. Bad strategy for making another team want you and/or give you a lot of money. He's a QB still on his rookie contract. If he's good, he's gonna get PAID!!!! He's not going to intentionally suck and flush millions down the crapper.
If we still had Kubiak I would be game... But no sense in bringing someone in whose best talent is getting coaching staffs fired... Yet.
