Last year this team was like a scrambled egg. This year they're like a scotch egg.

dude Daniels showed up in the playoffs last year, McFail just isnt playing him

 

Black is doing ok especially if you consider the fact that he's an undrafted rookie. Remember Canaan and DMO didn't look like they can play in the NBA in their rookie years either.

 

That won them the game. That and their defense. Great win by the Rockets. What they're doing minus 3 starters is amazing. And I hope tonight finally gets Canaan into the lineup permanently.

 

This team is gonna be real good...Canaan and Dmo are starting to come around. Get T.Jones and Howard back...trade for a back up center. Cut Dorsey. Trade for Brewer. We'll be ready for a ring!!

This game was won when the Rockets actually went to DMO on the block when the shots weren't falling. This is what I have been saying from jump.. Even if DMO isn't making his shots in the post it does have a calming influence on the offense. Loved the Post play and the Defense from DMO.

This D from the Rockets is so impressive.., It surreal watching all the defensive stops..

 

I feel sure he will be the first PG off of the bench. That is fair enough. The guy is barely a rookie. But production = PT.

one game... keep expectations low until they start to string multiple good games like this.

 

dude don't you think it's inappropriate to keep calling the coach McFail when the team is 12-3 and you're on a Rockets fan site?

 

Our 3 starters being out is a blessing in disguise. It gives our normal bench players some starter minutes and our deep bench some regular bench minutes. Once Howard Bev and Jones returns we'll have a very solid bench lead by solid players in Canaan, Dmo, Papa, and Terry.

 

To true. The difference is night and day. Man, defense can win games.

 

Cannan HAS to play, and Dmo needs to play the Center spot....they are finally hitting the guy as he slips the picks, and it is creating good easy baskets for him, or he makes good passes out of it.

Yep, I was coming here to post the same thing. He's making a good case for that spot. Rockets, let the 6-ft guy who can hits threes and put down a layup over Demarcus Cousins play...a lot.

 

What do you mean? He has appeared in 9 games, shot 27% from 3 (on almost 3 attempts PER GAME), and plays no defence.

I wouldn't play him either. Would you?

The guy is an undersized, no defence 2, who can get hot.
He's the kind of guy you put on the roster, and turn to when desperate in the hope something miraculous might happen.
