This statement is laughable. Every player in the NBA is better than Joey Dorsey, and Clark's a better NBA player than Black. You guys are delusional

I thought he is on the Rocket's D league protected list?

Or does the rule not applicable for vet players?

    Confusing news.

Did you even read his post? He said Clark cant play backup center which is what Dorsey and Black are.

Why do we continue to let teams take players at a position of need off of our d league team.i hope he doesn't play well for the Lakers.

Um, Black & Dorsey aren't centers either. They play center because we have no other options. Both are PF's and Earl Clark is better PF than both of them.

    He was.

Those lists expired once the DLeague rosters were settled. We brought him in so that our DLeague affiliate would have the 'rights' to sign him first.
But a player who signs for a DLeague team is NOT on an NBA roster, nor does an NBA team have any rights over that player.

The only DLeague players an NBA team has any 'rights' over are members of the 15 man NBA roster whom they assign to the DLeague.

It isn't really that complicated once you figure it out - hope that helps? (Hope it is right too! :p )
