As the grand jury ruled and thus the justice system has worked its way this case, there is little reason to continue to argue the case. While there are times when the justice system fails (eg OJ Simpson case) folks have to accept it as its the best we got.

That said, we will never know all that happened, either in the police car and on the street afterwards.

    But what is also troubling...

Why the police department left the body on the street for four hours. I realize they later apologized, but it was the first of many bad decisions made in this case.

Why the police department released the video of Brown the very day they released the name of the police officer. Especially after it was testified that the officer wasn't connecting the robbery with Brown, walking in the street. Seems that act was intended to either deflect from the naming of the officer or to taint any jurist and public opinion. I'd expect such an act from the attorneys on either side... but the police department?

The heavy handed actions of the police department to control crowds.

The constant "leaks" of information, then complaints about media and "24 hour news cycle." Seems to me they happily used the very media they complained about throughout the case.

The makeup of the grand jury. Supposedly reflective of the community and "of your peers", it reflected neither... and coincidentally was comprised of the very number needed to rule in favor of the police officer.

Last, and perhaps most significantly, the history of the key prosecutor. The very history that would have eliminated a potential juror from sitting on a trial.

Some 12 year old got killed holding a fake gun. Let's continue to talk about an Adult who punched a Police officer.

    yea in CLE, its sad

As for this case, based on the first reports I really thought that the cop was wrong, but after everything, he's not, if you put ur hands on a cop, more than likely you're gonna get shot. People need to move on.

Regardless of one's views on Brown and Wilson, there are cops that are nice and there are people that are that stupid.

This is an often quoted misrepresentation of what happened. They did not leave the body on the ground for 4.5 hours for the vultures to feed. They could not reposition the body until the crime scene work was completed. This was an active crime scene and a team of experts must use time to complete their work. Shell casings must be located, details documented, etc and that can't be done quickly. A crime scene must remain undisturbed which is why the body had to lay there.

Believe me, I'm sure the police and everyone involved wanted that body out of there ASAP, given the hostile surroundings. It wasn't safe for them to do their work at all.

So.... because you disagree with what this guy writes, you think it's accceptable / amusing to use an offensive term like that aimed at demeaning members of the special needs community. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

I'm sorry man but I find extremely hard to believe that a guy who has never fired an firearm before (on duty) n never had a complaint against him, woke up one morning n decided "I'm gonna shoot some black kid in the middle of the street today".

Ouch. Been a rough 2 days for Sammy. He is relentless in his insufferableness, though. I'll give him that.
