I learned that arguing with folks like you brings me down to your level. Nothing more. And that is my only regret.

This is why your reputation here sucks so badly. Instead of politely making whatever point you had to make you STARTED by calling me lazy, stupid, and dishonest. Then after I prove the statements you made were untrue, you double down and I followed you into the sewer.

So congrats, you just managed to insult and alienate a fellow clutchfans member for...what reason again???

Actually, I do regret one more thing...that I hadn't already ignored you. Fortunately, I can remedy that.

tldr: You're just another a-hole on the internet.

I felt similarly about Trayvon Martin when some reported about what they found in his locker at school, the last few weeks he was alive, and his photo. There is true injustice in our legal system regarding black men (e.g. War on Drugs and sentencing discrepancies), however I'm not convinced by nationwide protesters that this is the best example of it. By rallying around it as vocally and violently as people have done, it diminishes the legitimacy of real claims for overt and systemic and subtle racism with people of any skin pigment vs. the system.

As a minority myself, my social circle are surrounded by Asians, Indians and Latinos. They are mostly engineers. They are virtually all for Wilson.

That photo where 300 lbs Brown intimidated that Indian store owner was very powerful to my friends in shaping their opinions of this case.

I haven't spoken to too many Latinos about this. I should've specified that Asian included East and South Asians. Indian/Pakistanis own a lot of gas station and convenience stores which get robbed so they really sided with Wilson. A family friend (Pakistani) was gunned down by two black men after he left his store in Houston so I understand their antipathy.

LOL @ SamFisher getting schooled and embarrassed and then making stuff up to unsuccessfully try and save face.

Wtf so if you're in a hurry, just plow over them? I guess protestors can no longer safely demonstrate against moving vehicles without risking their lives anymore. Seriously that driver better do time for assault with deadly weapon or something felonious.

    Good night, sweet prince.

I will pour the sweet nectar of your regret out on the curb in your honor, now that you have other windmills to slay.

The Sulzbergers better be on notice.

TheresTheDagger - don't worry about ScamFisher. It's obvious that he lost the argument with you, like he usually does when he tries to argue with intellectual superiors (pretty much everyone not named Mathloom). He would rather nair his nads before he would ever admit defeat, though.

"Real claims" _ Lol... If Brown would have been any other color most of you would be outraged with how the police handled this. Same with Martin and many others.

But no... Protesting and riots will get them no where. They're going to have to get like Cliven Bundy and Timothy McVeigh to get this country to pay attention or the extermination of them will continue.

    Wow dude.

I'm as liberal as they come, and I don't see how you can take the position that many of these protesters are. If you steal from and assault a store owner, then fight with a cop and try to get his gun, bad things are likely to happen. I don't care what color you are. There are so many more valid instances of racial injustice. To use this one when Brown was clearly in the wrong, is baffling.

Excellent post. I don't think the officer acted out of racism at all. I don't think he had to kill the kid, but if you assault a police officer you open yourself up to the possibility that you get shot. Unfortunately that is what happened.

Now that's just stupid for you to even write i would like to think no one here would have liked for anyone to have been killed Wilson or Brown.

    I don't know...

There are a few posters here that would have no problem with cops getting killed.

    Excellent post.

Remii, you're a ****ing loon. "Tim McVeigh"? "Extermination"? You need to step away from the keyboard for a while.

    DING DING DING -- winner.

We can end the thread after this post.

to all the protester buffoons out there with your hands in the air saying, "don't shoot" -- just know that you were lied to. That didn't happen. You are wasting your time throwing a racial pity party rather than protesting an injustice.

I seriously hope this is is a level.

By choosing to "protest" in a public thoroughfare they're inherently putting their lives at risk. They are the ones that put themselves in a place they don't belong.

Did you see the way those idiots were draping themselves over that car? If a mob surrounds my car like that, I'd do the same thing.

Driver will not and should not be charged.
