The other black person was not a white cop. As a white male---- I can see this is about white officers using excessive force against blacks that they wouldn't against others. Ridiculous account of needing to put 12 bullets through a guy by Darren Wilson. That's what they want to change and curtail with all these protests, or at least cause officers to stop and think before going overboard. I think it's beyond hope, officers are running on adrenaline and can't relate to black kids--- just have to be twice as careful.

All he had was a gun, a flashlight and pepper spray. Using the pepper spray would have hurt him as much as it would have hurt Brown, so he used the gun.
In this case, there wasn't excessive force and the race of the attacker was irrelevant, he could have been of any race and he'd be just as dead acting the way he did.

Do a basic google search and you will find it... Has been all over the news. He also wasn't facing just theft but assault charges in conjunction with/in furtherance of theft. I don't know what happened in the moments leading up to the shots fired, but I do know that the narrative that Brown was some gentle giant is false. I also know that basic police protocol is for officers to use deadly force if they use their service arm.
Well yeah, if Brown had gotten the gun away from the cop and killed him, none of us would have heard about it because no one cares when a black man kills a white police officer but it's national news when a white police officer kills a black man. If it had gone down like that, it might make the front page of the local newspaper and would be the lede on the local news, but the national guys would ignore it.
Right, and what about all of the allegations of black officers using excessive force against black perpetrators? New Orleans not that long ago had to fire and incarcerate a number of black officers killing other black citizens. Race is a factor, but let's not fool ourself, authority is a larger part of the issue. Had Wilson been black and killed Brown there still would have been some level of protest and anger directed at the police officer and the police department. This is a complicated issue and Brown and Wilson are ultimately just pawns.
This is what the AA community has an issue with -- and you can see where they're coming from. White guy attacks cop, goes to jail and gets cuffed. Black guy attacks cops, shots fired, no respect for life. Smarter people in the community will say that's how things work, you'll just have to accept it. But you have to see this nation as one with justice for all. There's no reasonable explanation for 12 shots by a professional police officer. That's a guy who has no right having that much power because he has no idea how to use it. The protestors MO is that yeah, people die and it's a part of life, but the fact that we have to be extra careful around police officers who are at ease shooting at us, potentially killing us, while they practice a different set of rules for whites and asians is unfair. It's a stereotype that works against them. I just don't think the majority of cops are smart enough to assess a situation that quickly. They see a black guy and they smell danger and they're going to overreact cuz they don't know how to humanize him. Academy training could have a section on this, taking down a suspect without using excessive force.
Lust for power is an american thing, not a racial thing. Look at how cosby abused his power over multiple decades. I'm sure black and white officers have pulled over and felt up women in front of their husbands. But you have to start humanizing the races as one instead of playing off of stereotypes. Protests will likely help push police protocol towards that measure even if the majority are clueless about the legal process.

Do you have some basis for "white guy attacks cop, cuffs and black guy attacks cop, shots fired."? I am not saying it is not true, but it is a large assumption. Second, your idea that white people, white cops especially do not view black people in human terms is extremely insulting. I certainly hope that white people are not like that or we have serious issues above and beyond police violence. Officers are taught to react the way officer Wilson apparently did, in large part to save their own lives. To expect more really isn't fair.
