Off topic: I'm driving tomorrow from Houston to St. Louis to meet up with cousins for thanksgiving. Any precautions I should take? Or routes to avoid?

Delay him from going where... Lol... The kid was walking in the street. Not running are hiding from anyone. And Wilson didn't approach Brown like he was a robbery suspect... If Wilson knew Brown was a robbery suspect and approached him how he said _ he's a dumb azz. A dumb azz with a gun... They train in hand to hand combat but actual hand to hand combat in a war zone is limited. Most soldiers who are in a war zone squeeze their trigger more than they throw a punch (if they ever do). But that has nothing to do with Wilson... And I can't imagine a combat vet sounding like such a chump. "I felt like a 5 year old" or whatever he said... Really...!!!! He was scared. It's obvious. He admitted it. That's why he should have waited for backup.
McCulloch completely **** the bed during this whole process. He could be completely right, but his lack of transparency and arrogant, defensive tone created an environment of hostility. A short-term fix for this is to recruit more people of color into law enforcement and get body cameras on every officer. I don't know what the long-term fix is, but we should stop isolating ourselves from other races, cultures, religions, etc. There's no good substitute for meaningful interactions/experiences/relationships with people of different backgrounds.
Yeah, he really screwed up by being so fair in this and caring about justice instead of just lynching the officer like the mob wanted him to. He should be fired.
Either take away their guns, or don't get upset when they use them. This insane blaming of racism does nothing. I think most cops don't need guns. I have read he wasn't trained. He did exactly what he was trained to do. Better training won't lead to a different result.
Body cameras are the last thing that Al Sharpton and his ilk would want on police officers. It would show the world just how disrespectful blacks are toward police! If Officer Wilson had a body camera, this event would be a non-story. Anyone watching that video would see a violent person attacking a police officer. The sympathy for Brown would be minimal. Instead, the Brown supporters are left to continue thinking he was some sweet, innocent youth, not a 6'4", 300lb man who was wanted for robbery.
Can you provide a link to all of that? Especially info about Michael Browns mother and stepfather involvement? Stealing $40 from a convenience store is a misdemeanor btw, most times dropped as petty theft without a record for a first time young offender. You're using lawyer talk to bull**** a bit on this one. Although I agree with the general consensus that yeah, attack a police officer at your own risk. fact that you're 6'4 and 300 isn't gonna help that. don't think the officer was guilty but why not use tasers in this case?
Of course they dont. It is a race thing - 100% Where is the outrage for the unknown black kid found shot to death in his car last night across the street from the Michael Brown shooting scene? I guess since another black person killed him, it doesnt matter. Why worry about another youth when you can go break windows, steal Alize and Colt 45s all night? No brainer?
