rug burn is now justification for 9 shots fired, 6 shots to the head.

Oh, wow, that's just an embarrassingly bad post. Let's see if I can help you.

    1. It wasn't "rug burn" it was swelling from punches....you know, assault.

    2. He wasn't shot 6 times in the head, I'm not sure where you got that from, but if that's what you heard then it makes sense that you have a poor understanding of what happened.

    3. When you assault someone with a gun, especially a police officer or military member, you are begging them to kill you.

You can't even control your emotions on a message board... You give the description of yourself on your own. You're probably just a patrol officer and that's probably all you will ever be.

wait, so are you suggesting the only "fair" way to deal with the situation is for the prosecutor to manipulate the evidence anyway possible to force an indictment, and then go to trial to prosecute a case where there are basically not chance of conviction?

Did you already have your mind made up that Wilson was already guilty and any other outcome no matter by what method of the criminal justice system is unfair?

no, but reaching and fighting for an officer's weapon in a struggle causing two shots to fire inside the police car, and then continue to charge at the police officer while he has you at gun point probably will get you shot in the head.

Pretty much, he ordered the mob to burn the town down, and they did their best to comply with those orders. He should probably face charges over it.

Oh wow. It's obvious he was being beat to death. Lol...

But I can see why he pulled out his gun. He's all soft and wimpish. He was scared. Probably scared as hell.

Grand Juries are always manipulated outcomes - they are not meant to be fair. The Slate article posted above covers this topic well:

    http://www.slate.com/articles/news_...t_prosecutor_robert_mcculloch_influenced.html

If the prosecutor didn't want to prosecute, he shouldn't have created a grand jury. The entire Ferguson controversy started over a concern that law enforcement is working against the citizens they are supposed to protect. A sham grand jury so that a prosecutor can avoid taking responsibility for a decision nothing to counter that argument.

That wasn't sarcasm, it was stupidity.

He was shot 2 times in the head, one to the top of the head, one to the eye socket that had an exit wound near the jaw and a re-entry wound around the neck. 2 is not 6.

Vets are not a homogeneous group, you can find vets that think all sorts of stupid things if you look.

No you are right, the case was never suppose to go the grand jury because the prosecution probably didn't find enough evidence for probable cause and probably would not have gone through to the GJ in any other case. But this isn't exactly any other case is it with all the uproar in the past 3 months.

But he punted to the Grand Jury because he didn't want to deal with outrage and the consequences of him single handedly letting Wilson go.

It wasn't even a sham grand jury, it was just a different one where the 12 people themselves gets to see all the evidence and decide whether probable cause exists instead of the usual Prosecutor leading them through. It was more than fair because no one else got to inject their personal bias into the matter including the prosecutor whom many have already criticized as always siding with the police.
