Instead of making stupid comments like that, how about explaining how you disagree. Give it a shot, you might like it and people might have more respect for you as a result.

Instead of a prudent response to my questions, the only liberal tactic you can muster up is to insult my intelligence. Throw in a few all caps and I'm a complete monster that goes straight to red!! LMAO This isn't about me, but my track record will speak for itself. Not only do I not have any sustained complaints, I don't have as much as one use of force complaint. I really don't even need to defend myself, as this isn't about me. I take pride in my work and my department. A lot of depts are hurting for officers and do hire warm bodies with a pulse. They also pay around the poverty line. Fortunately, we have the luxury to hire less than 3% of applicants, nearly all of which are college educated (and/or military). We also pay very well and we are held to a high standard, with most of our IA inquiries coming from within. Did you know it's possible to get animated on message boards and not be a psycho who's looking for an ass to beat all the time? You ignorant liberals do grind my gears though, so I understand how you can jump to a reckless conclusion.

that wasn't Mike Brown Sr. actually, it was the step-dad but according to law, what he did doesn't constitute as inciting a riot.
Your lack of respect for anything I post can only mean that I'm doing something right as you really do have fascinatingly terrible views on just about every topic.
Those national guard didn't do much last night. All they did was crowd around the police station while things around the city were getting burned down and looted.
I have been following this from a distance. I find the riots inexcusable. But regardless of skin color, I don't think the young man would have been gunned down in Europe. To me, it's less of a problem of skin color in the actual situation that caused the whole thing and more a problem of guidelines for police officers as to when to resort to deadly force - it should be a very last resort rather than something that happens so frequently. Now, I was not there in the particular situation - it may have been necessary to shoot to defend himself, the question to me is if it could not have been enough to shoot the aggressor in the leg or something.
Fair enough, whoever it was yelled "Burn this b**** down" then the mob starting lighting buildings on fire....I'm not sure about the law in Missouri, but he encouraged a mob to commit arson and they carried it out. Earn some respect, what do you disagree with and why?
Completely agree. If someone start a fist fight with you, should you kill him with you gun, even if it is self defense.
You never shoot only to wound if your life is threatened. Not sure if you've ever fired a handgun, but they are very hard to aim, even at close distances. You aim for the area that gives you the greatest chance of stopping the life-threatening attack -- the upper torso. This isn't Hollywood where you can simply shoot them in the foot or arm and be ok. The bottom line is one should never physically assault a police officer -- that's the real problem here. Michael Brown, after robbing a store for swisher sweets (almost undoubtedly to be used to smoke illegal drugs later) then assaulted a police officer, threatening the officer's life. The fact that people are defending this guy is unbelievable.
poor English, so I didn't understand your post, but I think you're saying that a policeman should never kill somebody who is unarmed. That is a very dangerous idea -- Brown could have killed Wilson with his fists. Wilson was right to use lethal stopping power. The facts back this up, and the Grand Jury, upon reviewing all the facts, agreed. These naive ideas are totally oversimplifying the situation. If your life is in danger, you protect yourself by all means necessary. The bigger issue is Michael Brown shouldn't have assaulted a police officer. That was just stupid, and tragically, he paid the price for his actions.
Question is, will the animals come back out tonight to keep looting and destroying hard working Americans' property??
Bigtexx covered this, but I can't help but point out that the first shot hit Brown's finger. Didn't stop him.
I totally agree with that. At the same time, to me, the question is whether American police officers are trained the same way as European police officers to fend off an attack with the least harm done to the attacker possible. Even if someone is in the wrong, that doesn't mean that one has the right to kill them unless there is no other choice. I understand that this may well have been the case here and unless it's proven otherwise, I think the only correct decision is to not convict the police officer - innocent until proven guilty, the same should be true for anyone, regardless of skin color. If the police officer was a black Muslim and the aggressor that got shot was white (or whatever), I would see it the same way.
Oh c'mon bigtexx, you know the people on this board. It's completely believable. It's par for the course here.
If they are to be believed, they said that the police and national guard are going to seriously crack down on that nonsense tonight, that it won't be tolerated. They have the force to keep the idiots in check, hopefully they decide to use it tonight.
ATW - if someone is going for your gun and they are pummeling you, and you are in danger of being knocked out (and losing your gun), then you really have no other choice.
