Leave to go where...??? Where the heck was Brown going to go and or hide in that neighborhood. And he was walking and not running.
Any more riots planned for tonight? Last night was brilliant. you have burned that image out to death. Try mixing it up.
Out of all the "put himself in the situation" moments, Brown's actions were the most avoidable and unnecessary as most individuals don't rob and assault store owners.
So was it a regular stop and the police officer was just getting on the kid for walking in the middle of the street... Or was he stopping him because he was a suspect in a store robbery. Because if he was stopping him because of the robbery _ then that's not a routine stop. You guys have to pick a side on why he was stopped. Lol...
It's BROWN'S GODAMN FAULT that his death wasn't prevented. When you're attacking an officer, his number one priority isn't saving anyone's life. Calling for back up? Was he supposed to tell Brown "time out, I've got back up coming?" It's not feasible to have backup every time you run across a pedestrian walking in the street. ...LOL QUIT blaming the guy who was doing his godamn job. If he would have got his ass whooped there would be another tired thread here about "black kid walking in the street gets his ass whooped" then you liberal whack jobs would be on here spouting off like the idiots you are. Again, it's not feasible to have backup every time you run across a pedestrian walking in the street. Police work doesn't look pretty at times, and decisions aren't made from the luxury of your keyboard, which is how you clearly perceive dangerous situations.
I will say though that it's a shame that the officer didn't have a taser to use so that Brown could be in prison where he belongs instead of being dead. Hopefully this is a lesson to everyone, if you are going to be a criminal who attacks cops, make sure they have a taser and not just a gun or you'll end up dead.
He didn't figure out he was the robbery suspect until after the initial contact. Again, it isn't feasible to have backup while confronting someone who may have just robbed a gas station. It's preferred, but it doesn't always happen like it does in your fairy tale world.
Why should he call for backup? Shouldn't a law abiding citizen listen to the police officer and comply? What makes a "bad" neighborhood? Is it one in which the citizens do not respect law enforcement and therefore the law enforcement should come in "packs" so they can be "safe"? Do you even realize what your saying? You should watch the Chris Rock video "How to not get your a$$ kicked by the police". You are right though, this death could have been prevented. Choices that Michael Brown could have made that would have prevented his death: Don't attack a store worker. Don't steal stuff. After you steal stuff don't wander in the middle of the street. Don't attack the police officer.
Stopping someone you think is a suspect in an unarmed robbing of a convenience store isn't something that needs multiple officers you would think. Also, he didn't try to stop them, he asked them to get out of the street. If Michael Brown had gotten out of the street, none of this would have happened.
Fortunately, the law allows for victims of an assault to overcome the force being used by the actor. A taser is an immediate, less-than-lethal weapon. If Wilson would have had a taser, I'm sure it may have worked. It's not a perfect tool. Again, we would have another thread about how a "child" walking is tased for being black.
Here was the man the gentle giant looked up to...... http:// http://www.thesmokinggun.com/buster/ferguson/burn-this-b****-down-879056 with that kind of parenting, no wonder he robbed a store and attacked a cop.
Waiting to hear about the bad neighborhoods being made up of people who are oppressed by law enforcement.
I'm not excusing Brown's alleged actions but Brown's actions were no excuse for the officer to put himself in that situation and make himself judge, jury, and executioner of Brown. You're argument is more on the lines that Brown deserved to die regardless of how his demise came about. And I can't debate how you feel.
Can't even post a link right......... http://www.thesmokinggun.com/buster/ferguson/burn-this-b****-down-879056
Can you explain what situation Officer Wilson should have avoided? Was he a proclaimed psychic? Had Brown previously made threats to law enforcement? By your logic, a cop should never get out of his car, because the unavoidable could happen, yes? By the officer doing his job.....it's his fault? I think that's what I'm getting out of it.
That's a dead end neighborhood with no where to hide and Brown didn't appear that he was trying to hide and or get away from anything. So after his initial contact he could have waited. But a lot of police officers aren't too bright. Especially when their adrenaline gets to flowing and or their emotions get worked up... Just like you... And you show that in thread after thread.
Well there's no question that his parents are awful people and they set the kid up for failure. The mom is potentially facing an armed robbery case and the dad is inciting riots.

Considering Brown's actions are on camera, they really aren't alleged they are documented. Officer Wilson's job requires that he put himself in that situation, it's called being a police officer. They do stuff like getting people to stop walking in the street and stealing stuff. These are probably things that officer Wilson had done hundreds of times in the past without having to shoot someone so I doubt he was thinking "this is the day I have to shoot a jay walker".
