they did in the beginning actually, at least from what I saw on stream. but it's hard in that environment. Most people probably thought it wasn't worth their own safety to fight the crazy looters who are probably armed.

I'm sure they'll rectify that error tonight.

I don't think cops would generally be concerned with or responding to peaceful protests. Especially when there's violent riots going on at the same time. Just a thought.

Yeah, still not even remotely their responsibility.

why are they even protesting? turns out fat kid was a real punk and lunatic. I wasnt on the jury but looks like enough evidence was presented and from Wilson's testimony, if he didnt shoot brown it looks like we would have a trial of a cop being murdered on duty.

It's just so ridiculous how the media use a 10 year old photo of a round little innocent looking boy to drive up anger.

How do you know this? I've forwarded several of my cases to the grand jury. I've sat in on several GJ hearings. They are usually controversial cases that typically involve family violence.

I get to sit in at the end of this long table. I describe my story and the GJ gets to ask me questions. The prosecutor sits back and listens.

Then Obama would had had the "feds come investigate" the Clayton Co. DA's office for judicial misconduct. Then the prosecutor's MF'in house would have been burned down. He knew he didn't have a case and wanted to transfer the burden onto the GJ. That way you wouldn't be able to make accusations as to why the DA didn't want to take it to trial.

And then his house would have burned down.

They were out from the very beginning because stupid people are really really predictable. They knew there was going to be looting and rioting. When you have to tell a lynch mob that they aren't going to get the blood they are out for, last night is what you get.

No one said it was their responsibility, just that if they actually cared about their community, it would be something they'd do.

If I was a business owner I would pack heat in a time like this. A few body dead in front of your store will set them straight

    That's not really smart either

If I was a business owner I would shut down shop and get out of town.

Also, we all pay for the rioting and looting these animals did to their own community.

They'd have a hard time doing that if they were getting shot. That said, it's best to just let the animals do their thing and just take the insurance money and leave.

Folks have read posts I've made in the past hammering Mr. Paul and his father, and will read more in the future, more than likely, but I sure as hell agree with Rand Paul in this instance. Nice find, Major. Anyone who doesn't agree with this quote from Paul has blinders on, in my humble opinion.

    Ah!

George Zimmerman wannabe! You are the real thing to fear! Not the protesters trained in non-violence and self policing!

White people with a victim complex are the real danger to Ferguson!!!!!

    LOL

CNN did a special last week on who the "real" Michael Brown was and they were portraying him as this "gentle giant". How did they reach that conclusion when literally hours before his death he robbed a store and violently struck the store owner who is half his size? Seriously CNN, why do a special at all on his character. Portraying him as some innocent child is unnecessary. Lying about his character is not going to help the cause with portraying the shooting as unjustified.

Too bad the guy didn't defend himself from the gentle giant. If he would have just shot the pothead the day before, none of these people would have even known who Michael Brown was. He would have been just another criminal shot while acting a fool.

So if peaceful, unarmed people don't stop armed, violent people that are looting, shooting, and lighting things on fire, they don't care about their community? Never mind that neither the police or the national guard were able to stop them either.

You have fascinatingly terrible views on just about every topic.

Honestly though, they should have found a black man to act as prosecutor because racist morons only see the color of his skin and assume that he's out to screw over black people. Had they found a black man to act as prosecutor the lynch mob would have to find someone else to blame.

Isn't it more than obvious? CNN and every other media outlet has done everything in their power to maintain this circus because it is making them a killing.

Don't you find it interesting that they announced this thing at 9 pm eastern time, prime time TV baby? If you were concerned about riots would you have done this? 9:00 am would seem like a much better time to announce this if you want to avoid or at least limit chaos. But no, they announce this just in time for prime time Riot Reality TV.

There is no injustice here other than the fact that a kid who started life with limited options and died attacking a police officer because nobody taught him differently is being used by every media outlet and attention w**** from coast to coast to trying to make money off of his death. It is sick and the community of Ferguson will pay for it forever.

The Michael Brown show is about $$$$$. Just ask his parent who are trying to sell T-Shirts for the show.
