Hopefully just a few days, maybe even less as more evidence becomes public showing that the cop really was innocent of any wrongdoing. To some that won't matter, but I'm hoping it'll make some choose to spend their time doing other things.
people will get tired and go home. Why did they loot a McDonald's, were they trying to get frozen burgers.
Unrelated. I walked into McDonalds today and was behind a rather large woman in the queue. As the assistant came to the counter I shouted, "I'll have what ever she's having." "But you don't even know what I'm going to order!" she chuckled. "I know," I replied, "but I've got five hungry lads waiting in the car."
To whoever replied to me in my rep, I agree that people should not 'do stupid stuff' around cops. This is the ideal, and we should all try to follow that. However, my point is that the penalty for doing 'stupid stuff' around cops should not automatically be death. People make mistakes, and people screw up. Teenagers especially. My observation is that usually when white people screw up and 'do stupid stuff' around cops, they get arrested and go to jail. When black kids 'do stupid stuff', cops shoot first and ask questions later.
Assaulting a police officer is not "stupid stuff", and anyone who assaults a police officer is likely to be shot, regardless of skin color.
The guy with the yellow belt on probably knows some good karate moves. He'll kick your ass if you're 4ft tall and not black........
