Agree. Just doesn't make sense to have an all-NBA guard on the bench at the end of the game. At some point, they are going to need to get what they can.
The Wolves agreed to a 4 year deal with him like 3 weeks ago. They aren't trading Rubio. Can you try to use some common sense? Rondo isn't coming here. There is no trade that makes sense and Ainge is going to try to re-sign him or sign and trade him if that fails. Dragic might get traded, but I can't see it being to Houston. It just doesn't make much sense. Sure we have the Lin TPE, but the Pelicans pick simply isn't that valuable. Anthony Davis will play 75+ games this year because he is bigger and stronger and the Pelicans will probably be over .500. I'm as much of a Rockets fan as you are, but these players aren't coming here.
Meh. Doubt it. Great player? Sure. But he's not a top 20 guy, and he's on an expiring contract. Name a team that can beat an offer of the NOP 1st and Capela.
Ainge just laughs at that offer. Take a reality pill please. How about Kyrie for Rondo and the Boston 1st and second round picks?
Not saying Gogi won't be dealt (I think he will), but I wouldn't read much into him not closing the game. It's usually IT & whoever is having the better game out of Bledsoe and Dragic. Tonight that was Bledsoe, and it wasn't even close.
Boston is rebuilding. They have no reason to keep Rondo unless they think they can acquire another big three at the end of their careers for Marcus Smart. That New orleans pick is probably what has them Licking their chops right now. There are only two teams I can see Rondo going to. Houston where we'll take on one of their bigman crappola contracts with Rondo for our New Orleans pick Dmo or Tjones and either Canaan or Beverly or the Knicks where Phil is willing to offer anything and everything including a night with Jeanie Buss except for Carmelo.
Offer was for Dragic. And he can laugh all he wants. The reality is Dragic and Rondo are not young, superstars, or locked up for more than another 7 months. Those that are skeptical of what the Rockets have as far as trade assets need to spend some time looking around the league. Houston is one of the few teams with good assets they are willing to trade.
Cavs. It makes so much sense. Rondo and a ton of picks for Irving. Kyrie is not gelling well with LBJ. There are not enough shots to go around. Kyrie certainly trumps anything and everything Houston could offer. Or how about the Jazz. Burke and their first round pick for Rondo? I could go on and on. Almost every team can make a significant offer for Rondo. Much much more than the NOP pick and Capela.
Lol you're waaaaaaay out of touch with the nba if you think the UTAH jazz would seriously consider trading for Rajon Rondo.
Please explain in detail why they would not. They have the young assets. Why would not an experienced all star PG make a lot of sense for them? That is going to be one hard case for you to put together.
The truth is Minny may decide to go a different direction if they continue on a lottery path later on this season. That is common sense for them Robbie. Sorry to burst your bubble. I'm not saying it's going to happen. I'm saying it's an ongoing fluid situation in which Flip could decide to pull the trigger on if the right deal is on the table for him a little bit later....or sooner. Use common sense and tell me how you know this. Are you an insider too? You have no idea what you're talking about.
Haha. Well said Bledsoe is locked up. Let's never mention him again Rubio. Just got locked up and is injured. Definitely not happening. Rondo, is a strong maybe for even getting dealt, we don't make good trading partners with them anyway. Enough. Dragic. Still think Phoenix would want something better than what we have to offer. He's coming off an all star year. Won't be given away. Plowman. 3 more months before you pay up homie
I don't think it's that ridiculous, but I definitely think the Jazz would rather grow with Burke and Exum. They don't wanna cap out with Rondo
