If the Rockets win 55 games or more he will be top 3 in voting IMO.

I'm sure voters are getting "LeBron fatigue" like with Jordan... Durant is missing a chunk of time so that may take him out of the picture... So if Harden keeps doing what he's been doing so far on both sides of the ball he'll definitely be a candidate for MVP.

How many games the Rockets win could be a deciding factor. If they can finish #1 in the west it will be hard not to give it to him.

He has a great opportunity but we have a lot of basketball left. So it's too early to be crowning anybody the MVP title. LOL 5 game in

Harden doesn't have an MVP salary bonus that would screw the Rox, does he?

Yeah, the way I think about it is, it's too early to judge Lebron for the whole season as well.

Who can you argue is better than James Harden so far this year? His prediction that he is the best basketball player on the planet during the summer is starting to look correct. Solid solid defender, playmaker, shooter, leader. #JAMESHARDENMVP

Only real argument: Anthony Davis, but his team is currently out of the playoffs and looking in. Not a good MVP candidate criteria to boast.

Is it possible for someone who was an all NBA first team selection the year prior to win MIP?

Because if he makes an NBA all defensive team... He deserves it.

It sucks that all the mvp voters still talk about his defense being terrible but they havnt seen but clips of him this year and only zone in on the handful of bad defensive plays he's made this year. He definitely deserves to be considered so far this year

Can someone please make a compilation video of Harden playing good defense so it shuts all the stupid haters up?

He was getting steals and good man-to-man defense almost every possession. Of course the freaking idiots nitpick one bad defensive play he had. Losers.

The only other person that may be considered besides Davis would be Marc Gassol, he's playing better on both sides of the ball and his team is winning. That said my vote thus far would still go to Harden doing what he's done thus far with an injured team.

Harden is taken for granted by too some on here. We'd be nothing without him. And he's only 25!
