Yes, I agree Eddie Griffin is not going to win you a game by himself at this stage. ;)

It's not completely surprising he likes the Rockets since he lives here (Carlton Woods). He has an opportunity to learn the roster much better, and deeper than clowns like Gary Payton and Rick Fox.

I think Avery Johnson played for all Texas teams. SA, Dallas and Houston

Was at the game; every time Parsons got the ball the Red Rowdies started booing. They even did this when the Parson's tribute video started playing. Luckily smarter fans drowned them out and cheered louder. Why the Red Rowdies thought it was appropriate to boo Parsons is beyond me. Shame on them.

Shame on the most hardcore fans we have? Shame on you for calling them out. Guys are 100% at the games, you aren't

    And *** Parsons!

yes. shame on them. their behavior was inappropriate. Is this impossible because they are fans? Of course not and therefore your comment makes no sense.

whys that? Morey told him to go sign the biggest contract he could.

That message to the fans after the game was a true show of leadership. We are seeing JH mature before our eyes. It is what this team and these fans need.

Since when did booing during a basketball game become inappropriate?

If you seriously dont get why we booed at the game then you need to get your eyes checked. We werent mad at him signing with the mavs. He was a RFA. We made at his comments AFTER signing. You dont say **** about Houston and not get heat for it. That aint gonna fly.

booing parsons during his tribute video is certainly inappropriate (he has done nothing to the rockets to garner such a reaction). Targeting him for special derision is inappropriate for the same reason. What has he done to be singled out in such a manner?

eyes checked for what? What did I not see?

I'm glad the other Houstonians at the game put you Red Rowdies in your place and Parsons got the ovation he deserved.

Actually im not a red rowdy. I was at the game and I booed.

Like I said, you dont throw salt on Houston and not expect to get booed out the building. He deserved it. I havent booed a former player making his Houston return this bad since Carlos Beltran made his return.

Wait do you really not know?

    1. Signed his contract the second free agency opened IN A NIGHT CLUB.
    2. Immediately talked about how Cuban is the best GM in the NBA, and Carlisle is the best coach in the NBA. Disrespectful to Les and McHale (although I won't argue Carlisle is a better coach, still not something you should say).
    3. Talked about how he was offended that we didn't see him as our third star, while we did him a favor in getting him paid early...not to mention the Mavs didn't even have him as a top priority as they only went in on Parsons after they knew they had no shot at Melo.
    4. Said how much Dallas, the city, was better than Houston. Called downtown Houston dirty and empty.
    5. Made a promo video where he says he, "Left Houston so easily." Even if he didn't come up with this line himself, he should have had the class/discipline to turn refrain from saying it.

This is just the list I can come up with off the top of my head, I'm sure others can add to it. If this isn't enough to warrant a boo I don't know what is. I'll give you and the other fans the benefit of the doubt and assume you didn't know about any of this...but I honestly don't know how you could have missed it if you frequent this site.

The Red Rowdies were far from the only people booing.

i wonder if people will care as much anymore the next time he's here. it's getting old to me now imo. at first i thought it would be weird to keep seeing him in a mavs uniform but he's just another player. all the off court drama aside that doesn't matter, it's time to move on from this guy. rockets have a more than adequate replacement are looking to do big things. the media definitely makes it a bigger deal than it really is.

If anyone wondered why the Red Rowdies exist, now we know.

This is how I feel. I didn't boo, but I don't mind that people did. I didn't cheer during the tribute video, but I don't mind that people did. My level of giving a **** about that guy couldn't be lower at this point.
