It could all be a set up just to get the fight in motion. Have you guys not seen Pulp Fiction?

Algieri was like donald duck dancing around on the ring. no doubt he's quicker than Bradley... terms of footwork.

his rapid footwork caused him his defeat though, the knockdowns in the earlier rounds caused by moving too much.

Manny looked good, as he should have. Algeri was not nearly active enough, I suspect due to Pacquiao's activity. He makes you keep your hands at home because he's always throwing at you. I think some stat was that Algeri averaged 80-90 punches a round, but was throwing a third of that against Pac.

If Algeri had some power, he would have KO'd Manny like JMM did, because he caught Manny with that same exact punch a number of times. Manny seems more vulnerable to that lead right than other punches, and that just happens to be the punch that Floyd throws marvelously.

Man, we have got to see that fight. Even after so many years, it's still the fight people want to see. Even if it does happen, regardless of the outcome, people will say, should have happened 4-5 years ago. Oh well, haha.

Algieri has cocopuffs for fists. Just because Manny gets caught falling into the punch of the decade doesnt mean his chin has disappeared. so far so good

don't forget floyd has pillowpuffs for hands too.. He hasnt knocked anyone out other than the cheap shot on Ortiz. He's never known as a knockout artist. I do wish the fight happened 4 years ago but oh well.. It's on Floyd now to make the fight happen.

Manny has always been there to be hit, nothing new. Rios and Bradley landed some flush hard shots on him as well. Aside from the lack of punching power, Algeri didn't do enough damage to Pac to knock him out with one punch. To get a knock out, you got to be willing to get knocked out. Take Marquez for example. He landed the perfect punch. But he also already soften Pacman up with the earlier knockdown. In turn while trying to land those KO punches, he got knocked down and almost got damn near stopped himself.

Compare that to their previous fights where Marquez got 0 Knockdowns and was trying to outbox Pacquaio. In their last fight, Marquez specifically said he was going for the KO. He got it, when the fight was turning towards pacman winning. Algeri was in "the cage" far too long before deciding to go for the kill.

I don't think Floyd will take the risk to KO Pacman. If he wins, it will be a unanimous decision.
