I believe his lifting quickness is sub-par and his shooting form is slow that any average or even bad defender can erase his shot. And he seems to believe that too so he always use pump-fakes.

He did shoot more off the screen in the last game but that's because Nelson is old, slow and SHORT.

Well...He did get empowered by Kobe but that's not enough for Linsanity to happen again cuz Linsanity was all abt a pass-first minded scoring guard playing with a bunch of team players. Kobe is shoot-first minded, he is a traditional SG, he would get his own shots quite a lot.

Take a look at Goran Dragic. He was phenamenon last season but this season? He has been playing like a ROLE PLAYER. Goran's PER this year so far is very close to what Lin had in these years.

Quiz: Was Dragic holding himself back?

...No one would blame him for that after all.

Even they were 0-5 in the first half, many PGs would have kept on shooting until they find better option. For Lin it seems Harden/Kobe are always the better options(which they are), so he will intentionally shutting himself down. He plays what the defense give him and that is just what a ROLE PLAYER usually does.

Talking abt Lin's inconsistent, Idk whose game is more inconsistent on this chart.

They have all played 13 games since the opening night.
Lin had 6 sub-par games. 5 of them were extremely bad.
Dragic played 6 sub-par games and 5 of them were terrible too.
Playing alongside IT and Bledsoe is like playing alongside ONE Kobe you know.

Dragic also has Thomas now on that team, so they have way too many ball handling guards

Looks like Lin spent time "bromancing" Parsons in Dallas.

You can't just compare Lin and Dragic this season.

Lin is the clear 2nd option and every play starts with Lin holding the ball.

Dragic is playing more as a SG and most plays start with Bledsoe and Thomas (who btw is a big chucker).

Either way Dragic is the way superior player.

Half of the plays start with Kobe holding the ball. And when Lin is holding the ball, half of the time he has to pass to Kobe lol

That's all on Lin LOL. Kobe has given him the green light.

Even when Kobe sits and Price shares the court with Lin, Lin goes beta chicken mode. Is that Kobe's fault too?

Price and Lin back court happens like 2-3 mins a game lol.

Kobe plays 36 -38 mins, lin plays 28-32 mins.
