Nice to see a full house and available on non-CSN TV.

Just got back from the game and finished reading through the game thread.
    A few random thoughts:

    - D-Mo was excellent tonight. Good on both ends.

    - Dorsey only got 5 or 6 minutes but he looked better and seemed to have a lot more bounce than he's had earlier this season. I'm not really sure why but he looked athletic for the first time this season.

    - Canaan couldn't throw it in the ocean in warmups. I watched him quite a bit in the pregame and he didn't make a single 3 pointer while I watched. Every single one was short. In his brief time on the court he didn't want to shoot. He looked to get rid of the ball as soon as he got it.

    - Papanikolaou has to start hitting shots inside the 3 point line. The defense is running at him and he has an open lane to the hoop but looks hesitant to attack the basket.

    - Dallas is going to have problems defending wing scorers all year. With their lineup they end up having to rely on Parsons or Ellis to guard the opponents best wing player.

    - Parsons came over and hugged McHale just before the tipoff. He came over to the Rockets bench several times following commercial breaks. Hugged some assistant coaches and tried to talk to Beverley. Beverly (who'd just got into it with Dirk) wanted no part of talking. Parson's looked really nervous and unsure of himself all night.

-Harden played really good defense on both Dirk and Ellis.

-Tyson Chandler was playing center field and completely disregarding Black or D-Mo most of the night. He was committed to preventing Harden from driving.

    - Monta Ellis looked disinterested for most of the night.

    - Brendan Wright looked really good. He's long and explosive.

    - Beverley was feeling it in the first half. He couldn't miss from behind the arc and was looking for his shot.

    - Though I didn't think it was possible, Dirk wines even more than you see on TV. He complains about everything.

    - There's quite a few posters in this thread who suck as fans.

    - There's also quite a few posters who either don't watch the game or don't understand the game.

weather this was mcfail's call or not, but going small against Dirk really bothered him and it worked pretty good. Still don't understand the Canaan situation, kid was getting better each game. Mcfail is stupid sometimes. Sometimes ?

Don't care if the Rockets lose the rest of their games. Tonight's win has secured a successful season because of this video.

Excuses from Nowitzki. They were up by 4 points with less than a minute to go.

Better than Hakeem. Greatest joke of the century.

If it wasn't for Tyson's defense, he wouldn't have won a championship. This time he won't win even with him, and Parsons.

I thought I was terrible when the rockets lose a game, cant even imagine how this guy reacts if Dallas loses in the playoffs.

If Papa made his layups he would average 15pts off the bench.

He complained about FT yet both team pretty much shot the same amount. They missed 6 while Rox missed only 3.

Dallas 3 point shooting - Dirk is better. They having tired legs definitely made a difference - same reason Memphis blew us out.

No he does not, he needs to LOWER his stance to get better leverage.

Kareem was tall and skinning but he dropped that ass, Dmo needs to do the same.

Dirk played 21min against lakers...not exactly heavy minutes. All of them played under 30min.

Yeah he does, he needs more strength. He does not have the strength to create room and make the shot. He would be much better as a bigger player defensively as well.

What he needs is to get more lower body strength for sure.

Dirk clearly was tired. B2B is exhausting even if you play 20-some minutes the night before.

Very unlikely you get that kind of 3 point shooting night from him and their team over all. 6-35? That's not even 20%. They shoot 20% and it's overtime. They shoot 23% and they win the game.

A win is a win, but we need more scoring to help Harden badly.

This. Starters didn't even play the 4th Q against LA.
