Dorsey with his patented "peg the ball towards the baskets general vicinity" & Black with his lethal post up game. Unstoppable.

Have you not been watching the same games that everybody else watching. Our entire team has been shooting atrocious the past 4 games. Harden has only shoot the ball decent once or twice so far this season. Ariza is in a shooting slump from downtown.

This might be another loss because we will hoist up too many bad threes. We don't have an answer for Dirk. Howard and Jones won't be playing and our bench is not better than Dallas bench as of right now.

Rockets/Mavs vs the 76ers and the Lakers: Mavs come out smelling like roses, and Rockets easily could have been 0-2 in that same situation.

It's easy to get discouraged, especially since we're not at full strength, and our frontcourt leaves a lot to be desired.

It's funny how nobody complained about posters' overconfidence against the 76ers and Lakers, but when there are reasonable posts about how we can't win against a team who is clearly better right now, people flip ish.

I'm not even gonna watch live.

I'll decide after I read the game story. I'd hate to see Parsons gloating. (So pissed off at Morey for not getting us better bigs. We would even settle for retaining Adrien.)

I just hope Canaan and Daniels get their PT. And it's one game nearer McHale's exit.

Seriously one more year of this, and I foresee Harden wanting to bail on the team.

Mavs open up as 3 point favorites. rightfully so with how their offense has looked compared to ours, and (mainly) Dwight being out

I feel like at some point all these shots have to start falling. It is very weird to have the whole team slumping at the same time.

It would be nice to see Harden get fired up, fire the whole team up, go out and destroy the Mavs. He's capable of doing that. He's also capable of shrugging the whole game off. If I were McHale, I'd ask him which it's gonna be, and sit him if he shrugs. Anything less than beast mode, he might as well rest. Not to condemn his leadership; just to be smart, a la Pop.

The whole team is wired into Harden. Harden's ability to penetrate and sink shots is important for the kick out. Harden's 3-point shot draws defenders in tighter, and without Dwight we aren't manufacturing points from defense and the run game. This team lives and dies by our superstars.

The open ones maybe(except for those taken by Cisco). But watch the opposing defenses. The Rockets are a pretty easy team to scout. Just close out on Ariza, Terry, and Bev. They're awful at attacking the basket and you know you don't have to worry about them pulling up for a midrange jumper. Plus Harden's been in a shooting slump all year, so you can just back off of him and give him the shot. Even that stepback 20-footer that became one of his patented moves last season has been AWOL.

Its called a "shooting slump", its like a disease that starts to spread within players, one person starts it and next thing you know it is affecting the whole team.

This is what we are currently witnessing.

    Solution: Relax = focus

Why I love basketball, because its a mental sport.

3 point favorites does not sound bad at all. I honestly expected it to be worse, with Dwight and Jones missing. But Vegas oddsmakers have been way more optimistic with the Rockets than fans have been this season.

Mavs throwing halfcourt alley oops to Charlie V! Aside from Dwight has any other rockets player been able to catch one?

Just like our shooting was too hot to last at the start of the season, it's too cold in the past several games to last for long. The fact that Dallas has an especially bad defense makes me optimistic that we're gonna run a train on them shooting-wise.
