Your post clearly exemplifies Morey's failures in this off season: the Mavs signed proven NBA veterans for their role players. We have rookies and unproven talent saved for Ariza and Terry. It is just not enough, especially on an injury ridden roster. We are fine is everybody is healthy, but otherwise, our reliable depth is as shallow as Galveston on a full moon.

There is still time to address our weaknesses, but this must be done sooner rather than later.

Like your faith. All we have to do is keeping them under 100 or about 100 and score over 105

Yep. It's sickening to me how gutless these fans are. Not even giving their own team a chance.

I can understand though I mean Kevin Mchale as a coach gives us nothing. If we had a better coach then it would be easier to give this team without Howard a chance.

I don't understand bookmakers, I would take Dallas at those odds. Sorry guys, I hope we win, but there is no chance if we play like we played last couple of games.

at least we have an excuse for whatever blowout the Mavs may inflict on us.

we're not at full strength. Less than 20 margin of loss would be a moral victory.

I don't know if our guys though have the mental toughness or pride to do battle when the odds are against them.

Sounds like he's saying it has to be five more points.

I am wondering how Kevin Martin can play almost an entire game with a fracture in his wrist (his shooting hand) and score a career high, and yet Dwight can't play at all on a sore knee in a game against a team that will likely punish us w/o him playing any meaningful minutes under the net ? I have fractured my wrist before on what would be my shooting hand and frankly I couldn't do s**t with it shortly after I realized it was broken that pain was that intense. Either KMart is one tough sonofabitch or Howard needs to start wearing a dress for the rest of the season...

This kind of opinion drove him out of LA. Maybe Howard is concerned about his body like Rose is (I want to walk to my son's graduation)......

I cannot blame him for that although he is paid like a multi millionaire.

If he is concerned about his body, then he is sending a lot of mixed signals the last week or so. First he calls in sick at the last minute before the biggest test the team had faced to that point in the season for the Warriors game, then appears perfectly fine the next day at his Docu premier, and the Rox org hastily says 'it's on them, that they told him to stay away to safeguard the rest of the guys on the team/staff" yet most of them were all at his premier the next day as well. HUH ?

Then he is at shoot around dressed to play on Wed night then is a sudden scratch with this sudden knee strain (that no one, not even Dwight, can pinpoint on film in the Grizz game how or where he actually injured it), and again lot's of secrecy and subterfuge as to why he was out as was evidenced by McHales post game presser when he seemed truly clueless as to why Howard didn't play, but yet Howard is seen at a Hunger Games movie premier snapping pics with fans. Then in Howard's and McHale's post practice pressers Friday they were both rather evasive and unsure about his availability going forward and what the extent of the injury was and how it happened. Again, huh ?

If the subtle reports of tension between Harden and Howard are even remotely true, I can certainly see why Harden might be getting the s***s of Howard's lack of mental and physical strength to play though pain, because James takes a beating night in and night out and pretty much carries the team yet he is making a 6 mil less...

Maybe he is legitimately hurt, but the way all this has gone down has left a really bad taste in my mouth as a fan of the team, and as i said I like DH the guy, the community guy, the funny goofy guy who appears to be a good guy (not going to get into the child abuse issues until more info is forthcoming as it sounds like his ex is a lunatic and looking to make his life difficult due to his demand for custody), I am having a tough time respecting the player and team mate right now tho' and just brought up the KMart example as a reference point.

Well, if we slow down the game, Mavs won't score 140 against us.

Just limit the possessions, foul every time they try to run just like in FIBA. Heck, the game won't be pretty, but we'll make sure Mavs won't pad their offensive stats.

They do not need to score over 110 to win the game....but you are right I like our chances if it is going to be strictly a half court game

We have to find a way to score in this one.

Dwight's body is the epitome of harmonious balance. Look at the man's perfect posture and stance. You give Hakeem's Dwight's body and he would still have the same hall of fame career. That said Dwight's robotic movements induce stress on those knees...

Even if he does you expect the rest of the team to score 81 points? Lmao

Dorsey & Black will probably produce a grand total of 2 points.

Bev around 12, Ariza & Pap 30, Dmo 7, Terry 12. That's 63 points excluding Harden which seems around what they've been averaging lately.

No way we win without Dwight, it was already iffy without Tjones. Sorry guys, I'd love to eat crow trust me, but no way we win this game.
