I do not think you have the understanding or the knowledge to critique me. Go on. Show me your brilliant insights into the NBA. LOL.
That's funny Fonzie. I saw the Spurs game. The Spurs got a layup up one because they ran a play where Ginobili was able to rub his defender off and get a easy high post pass from a Duncan for the layup. Contrast that with the Rockets offense. That's how you run plays to get easy shots at critical times. Now run along.
Oh really? Does a head coach also call plays during a timeout? I assume that's what McHale is doing with his blackboard on the sidelines. So why did the ball wind up in Tarik Black's hands on that possession? Why did Harden in a previous possession have the ball 35 feet from the basket with only a few seconds left in the shotclock(which led to the Lakers steal and 3-point play)? Is McHale not responsible as the head coach for making sure his players know what they're supposed to do offensively and to execute on the court? Or is that all on the assistants and Morey?
Comparing the Spurs, a roster that returns all 15 of their players from last seasons championship team, to the Rockets is completely ludicrous. The Rockets are not there, but neither is any other team in the NBA.
Lol bro. It doesn't take much insight to question black getting the shot with the game on the line. Same goes with cannon's omission from the lineup. That crap is not complicated.
McHale is really really bad. I agree. But you could tell that play wasn't for Black. He was supposed to kick the ball back out. Players were yelling and screaming for him to do so. He just went full on knucklehead and decided he needed to play hero ball. ****ing moron. He needs to be benched permanently for that nonsense. It's simply on McHale for even allowing him to be in the game at all during the last three minutes. D-Mo has been a nonfactor for a while, but at least he wouldn't pull that knuckle headed ****. Furthermore, I do blame Morey for not having any sort of competent backup for Dwight. Black needs to go and Dorsey is really really really bad. Morey needs to correct that because it is a huge problem and a big blunder on Morey's part.
That's one of those decisions that makes me loathe McHale. Because that's an entirely unforced error. Howard, Jones, and Bev missing games due to injury is something he can't control. But to be wearing out Terry this early in the season, giving Cisco 12 minutes a night, and benching Canaan and even Daniels is entirely on him. And the results speak for themselves. I'm not even talking about the losses. Look at the offense. It's horrible. We were the 2nd highest scoring team in the league last year. Right now, we can even crack 100 anymore. Hell, we couldn't even crack 70 the other night. And tonight against the Lakers in the 4th quarter, we scored 17 points.
Popovich draws up a play that gets Tim Duncan to pass the ball to Manu on a backdoor layup to win the game. McHale doesn't want to call a play. One is a championship coach, the other is a guy the players like..... Only one is a guy the players respect as a coach, and it is not the guy coaching our team. DD
Not only is Canaan not seeing the court, if he's on the bench you'd think maybe we are trying to go away from the 3ball. but canaan is WATCHING the rest of the team launch 3 after 3. he could also handle the ball some and relieve that constant duty off James. look, McHale has been coaching this team for what, this is 4th year? by now, if you watch all of the Rockets games you either get it or you don't. this team isn't doing anything serious with him as head coach. as long as he's head coach we will be very predictable late in games, and 7-8 point leads with 3-4min will always be under constant threat of being relinquished. what amazes me, there is STILL no variety or some plays iv been surprised with in late gm situations. well i was surprised today to see that he had Black in on OFFENSE. for some reason. i'm happy this game occurred when it did, so i can kind of take a step back and downgrade my optimism for this season. i was blind there for a second. i mean look at the 10 wins Houston has, which stick out to you as a nice win? spurs resting on a b2b? sixers by 1? squeaking by 3-10 okc without even reaching 70pts. we just aren't that good. should settle in around 6-7 seed and it'll be another first round exit. Bad coaching and no depth, what should we expect?
Lot of ways you can make excuses for this loss but whether it was Mchale or harden overriding, they straight up *****ed up those last two possessions. Hold the ball at mid half court until 4 seconds on the shot clock first, and then a Tarik black post up???????whoevet is calling the shots messed up the ending of this game
Does that have anything to do with your not having 30 seconds of NBA playing or coaching experience in your life? Think about that. Did you even play college ball? Or high school ball?
