No, I'm not being stupid...his own damn coach said he didn't know when asked about Howard. Yeah, everyone should make his money and whimp out at game time. He didn't turn an ankle in pregame. Get real man.

I started listening on my way home when it was 75-65.

I can't believe we allowed the Lakers to finish on a 33-17 run to win on our homecourt. Dwight or no Dwight (and TJones...), that is some bullsht. I was so angry the last few minutes just listening to it in my car, I can't imagine having to have watched that cr@p.

When I heard Harden turn it over and then foul on the layup...I knew that was it. The dagger was hearing that Black was making a post-play on the next possession when it was out of Harden's hands for a moment. god.

I'm not quite sure w t f is going on, but its on McHale. We don't have the BEST team, but we have some quality players and things were clicking just a week and a half ago. Now we can barely score 90, can't hit 3s, FTs, or defend. They're professional basketball players, right?

Sigh. I was looking forward to watching this on NBALP later... time to find something else to do.

    How disappointing.

    damn..did dwight really bail?

if that's the case, he can't b**** and moan about not winning a title..because dude if you truly had that desire, then you would put all this nonsense behind you?

now if the allegations of abuse are true, that's a different ball game.

We need a backup C or PF! When Dwight goes out we are screwed. The fact that T Jones is out as well definitely does not help either. We either are going to have to make a trade or sign a Vet FA. I really think the best option is to make a trade but it is going to take some time of course. I think a guy like Taj Gibson or Kenneth Faried would be a great addition. I know some people don't think Faried would be a great fit but I just love his passion for the game. He rebounds like no other and he is still young so he has a lot of room to grow. If we want a center I think Javale McGee or Timofey Mozgov could be had. I don't know how either would fit here cause I haven't really watched either play that much but there aren't many Centers that are available through trade. The FA options aren't much better:

    Andrew Bynum
    Hilton Armstrong
    Greg Oden
    Emeka Okafor
    Jermaine O'neal
    Byron Mullins
    Kevin Serraphin
None of those really excite me all that much.

    Harden:

Silly mistakes on my end. Turned the ball over a couple of times. Brought their 5 out. We didn't execute like we needed to.

    Fouled on the steal?

    No, good defense.

We had a couple of great opportunities to win the game. Silly turnovers by myself and they made some big shots.

(What they missed with Dwight) Post presence, defensive presence, lob target, leadership on the court. We had opportunities to win it and just didn't get it done down the stretch.

What kind of defense on you if he's out?

Who knows. Guess we'll see if it happens.

We should have won. We let one slip away. We'll watch film and bounce back Saturday night.

That has absolutely nothing to do with Dwight. He was asked the question since the lakers have been struggling where he finds any motivation still. This is a perfect example of how people interpret comments and somehow apply it to something that has no relevance when they don't know the whole story

You're right, he did do a great job setting up his teammates but Harden is not excused from some of the blame. We have all seen Harden beat whatever is thrown at him, if he really wanted to. I appreciate that he woke up in the third quarter but the first half was inexcusable.

He was not aggressive, simply put. On a night where the team is coming off a rout where he was 1-9 and faces a team on the second night of a back to back at home on the first game of a 5 game home stand, Harden needed to come out firing tonight. I'm not saying jack up terrible shots but look to be involved in the offense. So many times tonight, I saw him stand 30+ feet from the basket just watching the others try to create on their own. When he would get the ball, he would dribble for 5 seconds and passing it to someone else. Do something with the ball! Move! Do something to contribute.

He and James are the face of the franchise and supposed to be leaders. They are compensated appropriately for that. When you take a powder on your team that doesn't send a good message to the rest of the team. As much as I don't care for Kobe, his dig was appropriate. Put your big boy pants on and come to work Dwight.
