I assume he was in there for the offensive rebound. Which I'm ok with when you're only down 2 and still have a timeout left. But the ball never should've wound up in his hands. The entire offensive execution in the last 2 minutes was horrendous. Harden throwing it out of bounds. Harden turning it over at midcourt and then committing a stupid foul on the and-1. And then Tarik Black of all people posting up when you're down 2 and need a basket. This is why McHale is a horrible coach. Because he doesn't know how to make adjustments or call plays in-game. When everyone's hitting their 3's like the week of the season, you look like Red Auerbach. But when things inevitably go south and the team starts to struggle, that's when you find out who the real coaches are in this league. The injuries are a problem. I'll cut him some slack on that. But we're talking the Lakers here who are on the road on the 2nd night of a B2B. You can only excuse so much.

There is a legit question that Morey will not hire a real coach because a real coach will not limit his offense to layups and threes. An actual coach will run an offense that utilizes the entire floor. Also, that Morey has two superstars and is still swinging for the fences. This is the time to fill the team out now. If we keep waiting out on the next big all-star we are going to miss out on solid adds to the team. To where we are starting Black at center for this game.

No idea. I don't know if George Karl has anything left in the tank. And Jeff Van Gundy isn't the answer when your problem is OFFENSIVE execution(although our defense with Howard, Bev, and Ariza would be epic). We already f'ed up by missing out on Lionel Hollins and Stan Van Gundy.
