Bengals' Wallace Gilberry: "[Watt] won't score on me."

I think we will see JJ line up as a RB for the first time here... and on GOAL LINE situations.

I believe this calls for a challenge.

    GIT'ER DONE, O'bryenn!

Great... every second they spend worrying about JJ Watt the tight end (even if its simply one announcement at practice as far as "being aware" of him on those plays)... its one less second they spend on worrying about what the Texans do as a team on offense, and what JJ Watt really makes his living doing.

There's still very little game film on Mallett... and what there is features a game where we ran the ball almost 50 times.

I called the Browns game pretty early... saying it here too. Texans should win this as long as they don't beat themselves.

He might not score on Gilberry but scoring on Dalton is fair game

Well in a lot of ways, he's right. If Watt scores, it won't be on a DE unless he's lined up as a RB or FB and runs it right at him. If he scores, it'll probably be on a LB or DB.....or Dalton

That's the attitude to have. Everytime I see Lebron dunk on someone or Harden juke a defender with his Euro-step, I always say: "He'll never do that to me,"

Wow. So he's saying a guy with 2 career td receptions (one wide open) won't score on him? What a badass.

Especially given the fact that he'd never be in coverage.

Did anyone see the title they put up for the Bleacher Report newsletter for the Texans? It was disgusting.

It read, "If Bengals DE lines up against Watt, he will knock him 'flat on his ass" when in the interview this is what was really said:

Mohr: "Let’s say you're out at defensive end, and J.J. Watt lines up in the tight end position. Do you knock him flat on his ass?"
Gilberry: "Of course, of course. You can’t let a guy like that get a free release. ... Playing one-on-one without linebackers or DBs? No, we can’t have that!"
Mohr: "Are you going to guarantee J.J. Watt ain’t going to score (this Sunday)?"
Gilberry: "He won’t score on me."

Granted, Gilberry is talking out of his ass and probably can't stop Watt, but that is a case of horrible journalism and word twisting.

I can guarantee if the Bengals score at all this week, it won't be on me.

And the guy he's referring to is a defensive end.

What a brave proclamation he just made...

Why in the flip did they draft CJ in the 3rd round when they are going to use J.J. at the tight end spot.

This type of overreaction to two dudes just having a fun convo is why we're always subjected to those boring-as-f-ck, cliche ridden, athlete interviews now.

That was a bait question and he answered it correctly... He never said J.J. "wouldn't" score.

Eventually these athletes will smarten up and respond to everything the way Foster does...

AJ Green is a beast when healthy. Bernard should be coming back and Sanu has had a breakout year looking like a legit number 2 receiver, but that quarterback...
