Actually...you are wrong. My oh said 6-6, but possibly 7-5 IF A&M beat Missouri. A&M lost to Missouri, but already has 7 wins...so you were wrong.
I was right on the result (barring a miraculous victory over LSU) -- just didn't anticipate the butt fumble gift vs Auburn What I want to see is A&M vs UT-Austin branch in the Texas Bowl
I think Muschamp sits at home and collects his millions unless another HC job is offered. Only DC job I think he takes is Bama if Smart gets a HC job.
In the interest of fairness and accuracy in reporting, I believe it's only right for you to refer to them as A&M-College Station branch, because sometimes I'm not sure which one you are talking about.
I don't think Muschamp is realistic but if offered over $1 million and the opportunity to coach Myles Garrett... I think just about anyone would at least listen. I'd at least give Butch Davis a call. If he wants back into coaching then he could use the gig.
very good point. it's disrespectful to the other A&Ms in the state -- Commerce, Corpus, Kingsville, Galveston, etc.
I'm personally hoping Auburn sends Muschamp a blank check. Would hate to see him land somewhere else in the SEC West as a DC.
Thanks. I'd also ask that you refer to them as Texas A&M, B-CS in order to encompass the entire MSA. While it might cause confusion with the now-defunct term "BCS" when used in connection with college football ~ I'm not sure if the A&M, B-CS Aggies really have that problem, having never appeared in a BCS bowl.
I just showed you the error in your previous statement, and you aren't even man enough to own it. Not surprising.
You get called on your own BS and can't bring yourself to admit it...so you try deflection. Nice try, junior.
http://collegesportsblog.dallasnews...ion-aggies-longhorns-could-meet-in-bowl.html/ Neither school has really embraced the possibility of facing off in the Texas Bowl. I had thought that bowls could pick their match ups based on where they are in the pecking order but the system might have changed. It seems like the SEC decides who goes where out of their bowl tie-ins after the sugar bowl pairing. I would not mind renewing the rivalry but only if we get 4 non conference games again. Since the big 12 plays a 9 game conference schedule, we don't have a ton of lee-way with scheduling and I would prefer not to play two national programs a year with only 2 warmup games. I may be wrong but I think a lot of the longhorn desires to see the game comeback come outside of the student body. For my friends and I, it was obviously the 2nd tier rivalry to OU. I wanted to beat OU but I didn't want to lose to A&M and there is a difference. I'm sure there are a lot of things that annoy aggies about UT but the whole "TU, Tea Sipper" stuff isn't antagonizing. It's annoying and it's everywhere. Even a poster in this thread dropped tea sipper. We aren't afraid to face a big program. Just rather play USC, Michigan etc.
