Because Bono hurt himself riding a bike, the Tonight show had no music guest , so they improvised

Fallon is one talented sob. He can definitely pull off Bono. In fact, he might make a better Bono than Bono himself. I would like to see him do a full concert as Bono.

He joins the list of people who are more talented than I had originally given them credit for.

That list includes, but is not limited to:
    - Jimmy Fallon
    - Justin Timberlake
    - Daniel Radcliffe

 Come on, now. You were winning until that sentence.

No one else is Bono but Bono? I'm PRO-BONO.

Bono lacks the sense of humor in himself that Fallon brings to the role. ;)

Plus, Fallon is a better all around musician on guitar and harmonica.

Put another way...if Bono died suddenly...then Fallon could take his place. lol

Edit: I would like to see if Fallon can do Robert Plant. If so, then the Led Zeppelin reunion tour is back on!!!!! Of course, Fallon would have to wear a wig and act/look like Plant for it to work. I think Fallon could pull it off.

So what you're saying is, the show will go on... "With or Without Bono"

Nah...it could but the rest of U2 would never agree to it. It would be like Rush trying to go on without Neil Peart. Obviously, Bono and Peart are irreplaceable. Fallon would be the next best Bono impersonator, though, imo. Obviously, Fallon couldn't make up for the intangibles Bono brings in the creative and writing process that has built up over so many years. He would only be as good as doing whatever Bono has already done. And, to the obvious point, there is only one Bono in that regard. Queen of the 21st Century (or whatever) might want to give Fallon a tryout, though. ;)

I guess I don't think he nailed it so much as everyone else does. Impressive, just doing it all though.

Fallon is the best. I don't think anyone else can do what he does on a night in and night out basis. His writing staff is pretty good also which helps.

Charisma and guitar skills, nothing more than this Halloween bit on Weekend Update 15 years ago ("I smell eggs and, can-dy, yeah..").

I really like Jimmy and think he's a great guy, but...
it's so annoying how he interviews guests and then does the extremely fake laugh when they tell a story and then repeats the words.
