received a trade offer this morning: I send Ryan Mathews and Martavis Bryant and receive Odell Beckham, Jr. and Steve Smith, Sr. in return. Here's my projected line-up / roster (yes I'm aware I should drop Hillman and Peterson and pick up other pieces). QB Matthew Stafford, Det QB RB Jamaal Charles, KC RB RB C.J. Anderson, Den RB WR Demaryius Thomas, Den WR WR Odell Beckham, Jr., NYG WR TE Larry Donnell, NYG TE FLEX Justin Forsett, Bal RB D/ST Lions D/ST D/ST K Chandler Catanzaro, Ari K Bench Knile Davis, KC RB Bench Ronnie Hillman*, Den RB Bench Mohamed Sanu, Cin WR Bench Adrian Peterson, Min RB SSPD Bench Alfred Blue, Hou RB Bench Jodan Matthews, Phi WR Bench Steve Smith, Sr., Bal WR
Smith has been really quiet the last several games so he should be seen as a throw-in. Martavis Bryant is definitely a boom or bust option so he is super risky to start any week, but on the other hand he could win a match for you. Ryan Mathews has a really tough schedule down the stretch, but he is a solid starting running back who will get carries. I'd do the trade. Beckham is the key to the deal. He is consistently good, and he would be better if he got into the endzone. It is always risky to trade a good rb but at this stage you have 2 that are pretty safe and a wildcard in CJ Anderson who is good for now but maybe not later. Hold onto Peterson until there is a little more clarity unless there is a really good waiver option out there. He may play this week.
Well the NFL ruled that he would be suspended for the rest of the year earlier this morning. Might hang onto him for a little. Trying to get Jonas Gray this week but doubt he'll fall to me on waivers.
Gray is the sexy option this week but Latavious Murray I think has more value. I think it is only a matter of time before he gets the start, possibly next week. But Gray burned me a couple weeks ago so I cut him. Bad decision. Gray may get most of the carries next week but it may go back to being Vereen-heavy again. You just never know. Jennings and Gore. Sproles just doesn't get the volume so the other guys are much higher percentage plays.
coin flip but I would lean Crowell, ATL ****ing sucks on run D. Literally last in the league I think. I would go with Kaepernick.
Pick 2: CJ Anderson vs Miami Lamar Miller vs Denver Josh Gordon vs Atlanta Tre Mason vs San Diego Thanks!
I'd go Anderson and Gordon. Denver has a really great run defense. Mason might do alright against San Diego but Anderson has Peyton Manning so I'd go with that guy. Unless he proves otherwise, you do not want to sit the number one WR in fantasy 2013. Ever. Gordon soared right out of the gate last year and is supposedly super in shape and pumped up for this game.
Trading Ellington, Boldin and Dalton for Cobb and Roethlisberger. Already have monsters at each position, this trade was made for my playoff run. Good trade? Non ppr.
Yeah, I think it's a pretty good trade. Ellington is down a starting QB and is about to play SEA twice, and SF as well. I think it's legit.
Dallas (@NYG) or Cleveland (@ATL) DST? Am I stupid to start both JAX starting WRs along with K. Wright when my others are T. Gabriel and P. Garcon? Thinking about finally benching Garcon. How the **** I started 7-1 is beyond me.
Pick 1: Alfred Morris vs. San Francisco Mark Ingram vs. Baltimore Ryan Matthews vs. St. Louis C.J. Anderson vs. Miami Standard scoring. 8 team league. Final week before playoffs and I really need a win and some magic to make the playoffs.
