The sad thing for Dallas fans is that the above line was simply an above average performance by last year's role player on the Rockets. If this is the type of performance that they paid max money to see once every 3 games, well, have fun.

I assumed he was getting a drink for Dirk myself. In reference to Dirk saying that meals were on him since it's all Dirk's money anyway.
When he originally posted the picture, he wrote " I finally hit some shots and this happens #congratson9" So he was making the joke that they thought he was Dirk because he was hitting shots. Looks like it was just his way of giving Dirk props for moving up the scoring list.
I think it's about time we stop paying attention to what Parsons does. Dallas couldn't attract a superstar FA for years, so they had to do what they could - overpay. Even Cuban and Donnie Nelson are on record as knowing that Parsons isn't really worth the $15M unless he somehow develops into a star. But looking at what they were desiring - a versatile SF who can handle the ball and shoot - there really wasn't much out there other than Hayward who can do what Parsons does. And Hayward got an even richer contract. Which got matched. At the end of the day, I'm not going to judge Parsons by his stats but on how the Mavs perform as a team. If they go backward from the previous few years, he was a bust. If they become contenders, then I think that's a bullet Cuban and Dirk were willing to bite.
Likely and by a lot. They're going to have a lob party without Howard in there. Harden needs to get Dirk in foul trouble to even things out some.
