I say relax, but I'm citing a chronic problem though. I'm saying relax to the acute problem we have of a probable loss, but we really need to talk about the problem of our depth long term.

 

for some instance if you are not from Houston let me tell you how it works using the Houston Texans as an example, they beat all bad teams but get destroyed bye good teams. Houston's first opponents had bad records and they still struggled against them tonight they play their first winning team and they are getting smoked. The only other team that smokes Houston was Golden State and even with dwight in that game they would have lost

 

Well we'll see just how big of a heart this team has.

The fact that Harden has only taken 3 shots tells me that he just wasn't in it tonight. Which is pathetic because it's their shot to show that they are for real. One of the first real tests of the season and it looks like this team has just crawled into a hole.

 

i think harden will come out of the 3rd firing, my problem with that is he loses control of the ball way too often when he tries to put his head down and drive. Im praying they run him at the high post too get some type of midrange game going

 

Just remember fellas, last year the Spurs lost HUGE against top tier talent while playing their best player and they still won the championship. They basically won the games they were supposed to in the regular season to 60 wins

 

Lets give credit to a really good Memphis team...I truly thought they'd drop off...but the way they've played tonight...they are clearly one of the best for a reason. Great guard play, great post play...Right now in this game, the guards for Memphis have shredded the paint giving Zbo and Gasol easy looks inside...The Rockets obviously lack size to compete with this team...but a personal opinion...I think the Rockets should try playing a bit of zone in the second half...

 

Yeah... wake me up with Poppovich is coaching this team, and they have a PG as good as Parker is.

Rockets are a first round exit team like the past two seasons. Getting a good regular season record early on means nothing.

Meh.

No matter what Harden does in the regular season it won't matter.

They have to perform in the playoffs. No one will think this team is for real until it's too late and they are in the WCF game 6 against the Spurs. Right now the knock on this team is they didn't win in the playoffs, so this is all about seeding right now.

 

If anything, this game will show Morey he needs to address the weaknesses in the team. We are good, but shallow good insofar as depth.

We will give Memphis their payback back in Houston.

One game guys, just one game on a b2b on the road. Keep this in perspective.
